Yes, the students may come to NIT Kurukshetra after completion of Class 12 by passing JEE Main. Applicants should have studied PCM or PBM at 12 th grade. The seats are accessed using JEE Main rank by the process of JoSAA counselling. There will be only the entrance test to take admission and not according to the Marks obtained in Class 12.

NIT Kurukshetra campus spreads over 300 acres. It has been divided into three functional sectors: the instructional sector, the residential sector for the employees, and the residential sector for the students (hostels). Students can find lodging in hostels because they are residential institutions. The MTech students are accommodated in PG hostels. NIT Kurukshetra has a very spacious library with a good collection of documents, including text and reference books, video cassettes, CD-ROMs, and many print and online journals and books. The infrastructure facilities include eight blocks and a workshop. Each block has offices for the staff, lecture halls, tutorial rooms, and various laboratories.
