NIT Patna, this is the best college I have ever seen.
Placements: This year, only about 40% of students got placed in our branch. The highest package was around 18 LPA, the lowest was 3.6 LPA, and the average was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Infosys, TCS, and other software companies, as there are no jobs in the core field. Almost only 20% of students get internships. Top roles offered are Software Engineer, Structural Engineer, Site Engineer, and Environment Engineer.
Infrastructure: I live in the hostel named Brahmapur hostel of the National Institute of Technology, Patna. This is one of the largest hostels for boys in NIT Patna. The mess structure of NIT Patna is delicious, and yesterday it was a special dinner. There are three boys' hostels and one girls' hostel. The net capacity is around 1,400 students. Some hostels have poor basic facilities, and the Wi-Fi is very slow due to the large number of users. The library is well-equipped, but the classrooms are a bit old. Mess food is unacceptable.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified. You will find all types of professors, including supportive, kind, and funny ones, as well as bad ones. The curriculum set is quite good. It includes electrical engineering subjects and core energy courses. Semester exams are of a moderate level, not too easy and not too difficult, unless you do not study.

The best college I have ever seen.
Placements: 80 to 85 percent of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package in our college is 45 LPA, the average salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Aditya Birla, Tata, PhonePe, and more companies are recruiting for our course. Every student gets an internship in the 2nd or 3rd year after hard work. There is a placement coordinator.
Infrastructure: There are three boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel. The net capacity is 1,400 students. Some hostels have poor basic facilities, and Wi-Fi is very slow due to the large number of users. The library is well equipped, but the classrooms are a bit old. Mess food is unacceptable, and there is a single big ground for sports like football and cricket.
Faculty: Teachers in the department are invaluable to students, but others like the Physics department do not seem well qualified. Students have to prepare on their own using YouTube or another platform. The course curriculum is very relevant, focusing only on courses that help with placements. There are two midterms and one end-of-semester exam each semester.
Other: This is the best college I have ever seen. I suggest that other students take admission in NIT Patna.

Absolutely amazing institute.
Placements: Almost 75 percent of the students were placed with the highest package of 84 LPA and the median package of 12 LPA in reputed MNCs like NVIDIA, Microsoft, etc. The college placement cell is nice, and the internships are offered in the 5th semester, but they are really tough to crack for on-campus internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available for my course are good. Our classrooms are big and spacious and have all the necessities like good Wi-Fi, smartboards, projectors, etc. Labs consist of many equipment, and the library contains a wide range of books, from literature to humanities. Since my college has both management and arts students, the library also offers books on subjects like history, politics, economics, etc. There are also many newsletters, magazines, and journals in the reading section. The quality and variety of food available in the canteen and mess are great. The sports complex has many facilities for various sports.
Faculty: All the teachers are like our school teachers, helpful with our doubts and in labs. Some are very strict but helpful for our studies. The curriculum is good as it produces students who are always ready for industrial life. Semester exams are easy, but the answer sheet-checking process is a little more complex.

My campus life memories at NIT Patna.
Placements: I am totally satisfied with our college, NIT Patna, Training and Placement Cell committee, which works very well. They help the students to get the opportunity to get internships and jobs; we provide placement opportunities at different companies. The top recruiting companies at our college are Google, Microsoft, BlackRock, Amazon, TCS, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. The highest package was 45 to 50 lakhs, and the lowest package was about 5 to 6 lakhs. About 60-70 percent of the students at Patna get the opportunity to get placed. In the case of internships, only a few students are eligible to get internships at the companies.
Infrastructure: Regarding the hostel facility, I'm not that satisfied because there are about six lifts present inside the boys' hostel, named Brahmaputra Hostel, which has about 10 floors, but only one or two lifts work at a time, while others are not working. If one lift is repaired, then the previous one starts malfunctioning. This is one of the poorest aspects of this hostel, which can be corrected. However, the main facilities at NIT Patna are quite good; even the Wi-Fi facility is generally good, although sometimes the Wi-Fi connectivity is poor, but mostly it is good.
Faculty: The course structure of NIT Patna is one I am partially satisfied with because it is very old and can be modernized. Even the professors of NIT Patna do not take much interest in changing the course curriculum or making slight adjustments, although they know the course very well in-depth. They must interact with the recently graduated seniors, which can help them make positive alterations to the course curriculum.
Other: I think in terms of value for money, as we know that NIIT Patna's new campus is already formed. When I joined the college, it was still in progress. In the first semester upon joining this college, the college charged 54,000, while in the previous year, they charged only 36,000 from our seniors who joined in their first year at NIT Patna. But yes, we're happy our new campus is ready. The crowd and campus life of NIT Patna are quite good. There are festivals at NIT Patna, including Parakram, Corona, and Milanje, eccentrica.

An ocean of thoughts, struggles, and successes.
Placements: Many companies visit my college. They get internships in various companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Google, Amazon, and many others. In our college, not many but a few students from the 3rd year got an internship. Many students of the 4th year get the opportunity to do an internship in various companies, and all 4th year students get the opportunity to sit for the placements inside the campus. The highest package is about 45 LPA in the Computer Science department, and the lowest one is about 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I live inside the Brahmapur hostel, which is 10 floors and 4 blocks. Each floor consists of 60 rooms, accommodating two students in each room. Thus, almost 600 rooms are available inside our hostel with about 1200 occupancy capacity of the boys' hostel. In each semester, mess people get changed, they are in contact with our hostel.
Faculty: Mainly, the mid-semester exam and end-semester exams consist of questions from the previous year, and the seniors help us too much regarding these exams. Those who can't follow the classes can watch the lectures on YouTube and other platforms. The course curriculum is mostly relevant, but there are some subjects or topics in our curriculum that need to be changed, which have been included over the last 15 to 20 years. In our course, teachers are well qualified from IITs and other reputed private institutions.
Other: There are events at NIT Patna like Eccentrica, Corona, and Milanje Udgam Parakram, and many other fests are organized each year at NIT Patna. The campus crowd is good enough, and the alumni connectivity is also good at NIT Patna. There are various extracurricular activities also organized by the clubs of NIT Patna. I chose this course because I had an initial interest in it from my childhood. The best things I like in this course are the practical things, like lab experiments and others.

Overall, the campus life of NIT Patna is really good.
Placements: As per the placement report of NIT Patna and according to discussions with my colleagues, about seventy to eighty percent of the students are placed in my course, which is Electrical Engineering. The top recruiting company is Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), and the top roles offered in our course are electrical site engineers. The highest package is 20 LPA; as per my knowledge, the lowest LPA is about 5 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: In the first year, I was allocated the Kosi hostel of NIT Patna, which has 3 floors excluding the ground floor. Afterwards, I was allocated the Brahmapur hostel in the second year along with all the colleagues of our branch on the same floor, and the room partners are allocated either before or after your roll number. Each room occupies two students.
Faculty: No doubt the professors of our college are really helpful. They are highly qualified. Many of the professors have completed their education from IITs and other reputed institutions, and their teaching quality is the best. As we know, each professor has different experiences of teaching in various domains, and their teaching styles are also different, but the way they interact with the students is really helpful for us, and the course is truly relevant.
Other: First of all, I got into this college, but I have no regrets about choosing it because after joining, I learned that all the people, even at any institution, come at the same level of education. There will be a difference between NITs and IITs, but the companies for campus placements will be visiting both IITs and NITs simultaneously, so you will need to prepare for whatever course you have chosen. The best thing about my course, which is Electrical Engineering, is that the professors, even the HOD of our department, are really helpful.
