Review of NIT Warangal College.
Placements: If you are in ECE, you are in luck. They have some great core placement opportunities, especially if you keep your CGPA decent over the years. A good mixture of companies shows up every year, offering a variety of roles. If you are somewhat competent, you are likely to land a good placement. ECE students seem to have an edge when it comes to software and management roles too.
Infrastructure: On the downside, there are not really enough instructors, and the classrooms are well, they are pretty basic. The canteen menu is kind of limited too mostly just samosas and tea. The campus feels more like a place for cramming for exams rather than a real learning environment. There's no medical facility around. The hostel accommodation is not the best, but they offer some comfort. The mess serves hygienic food, and the water supply is pretty well maintained.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are really supportive, focusing on helping students individually. I have noticed a few instructors who clean towards being a bit strict and, well, a little old school. Sometimes that can lead to issues like gender bias or discipline trouble.

NIT Warangal is the 1st NIT in the country.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed this year in my course. The highest package is 56 LPA in EEE and 88 LPA overall. The average package is 15 LPA in EEE and 12 LPA overall. Top recruiting companies for my course are L&T, Bosch, AMD, Qualcomm, Honeywell, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, AWS, Deloitte, Mastercard, etc. About 70% of students got internships in companies like L&T, Bosch, AMD, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc. The top role offered in this course is SDE.
Infrastructure: Average facilities and infrastructure are available for our course. The college is very old and the department is one of the primary branches here. Wi-Fi is available. The library offers many books, and labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are moderate.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They all are PhD graduates from IITs. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very old actually it needs to be upgraded but it makes students industry-ready as students learn everything by themselves here. Semester exams are very hard in college. The pass percentage is 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course to crack a government job actually as the EEE branch has a high scope in government jobs. We have a secure and happy stressful job in the government whether it be state or central government. I would like to improve the course curriculum and make it up to date which would be suitable for today's generation and industry standards. We have plenty of events, fests, and good extracurricular activities on campus including clubs.

Fair review of a student.
Placements: The highest package is 52 LPA, the average package is 20 LPA, and the median package is around 15 LPA. Placements are pretty good and provide good opportunities for students who want to join top companies without any doubt. Nearly 85% of students get placed here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with good facilities for sports and academics. LAN ports are available for connection to the public Ethernet, which is unlimited. Various events are well-organized on our campus, and different clubs provide different opportunities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and have very good experience. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are very difficult on our campus, and we have to study more than enough to score well in the end-semester exams on campus.

The students of NIT Warangal.
Placements: Around 84% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 67 LPA. The lowest package offered is 10 LPA, and average package offered is 16 LPA. Top companies are Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra, and many famous core companies of India. Top roles include data analyst, backed developer, and many core jobs.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided in our college. In addition, WLAN is provided in each room for faster data reach. Classrooms and labs are well-built with AC. Mess food is tasty and the food street is there on our campus which has a variety of shops. Ambulance is available 24X7 and hospital facilities are available in our college. A wide area of stadium for cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, tennis, gym, basketball, and badminton courts are there on our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members have wide areas of knowledge in their fields. Teaching quality is excellent in our college. Curriculum is greatly relevant to our course. First-year students are being taught extra knowledge of other subjects from other branches. Pass percentage for each subject is 40%. They are moderately easy.
Other: Many clubs are present in our college in which me and all my friends participate every time.

My experience at national institute of technology Warangal .
Placements: I am currently in my 3rd year and am surprised to see such mass recruitment at our college for both interns as well as for placements. Top companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, Microsoft, etc., visit our college for recruitments. In my department, around 30 students out of 140 were selected for internships, and around 150-200 students were selected from all departments for SDE, hardware, and core roles. The highest package offered till then is 88 LPA, while the lowest is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have good Wi-Fi facilities across all parts of the campus and but classrooms where each classroom can accommodate around 80-100 students and a large library with various kinds of books. The facilities in the hostel are not as good as other colleges provide. The mess food is also not so good. We have good medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and help us regarding the course. The course curriculum not only involves our department courses but also required courses like humanities, communications software, etc. The semester exams are not so difficult; it is easy to score a good GPA.
Other: I chose this course because I am very much interested in knowing how electrical machines work, how our houses get electricity, and all. Our college provides the best faculty members with good knowledge on the course, which is really helping me in achieving my goals and gaining good knowledge on the subject. We have several events like Technozion and Springspree, and various events are conducted by the clubs like Robotics, Dance, Dramatics, etc.

How good is the EEE course at NIT Warangal?

NIT Warangal is one of the top NITs. Electronics is the second most demanding branch after CSE. Therefore, I think taking EEE at NIT Warangal will be a good option if you are not getting CSE in good NITs. Also, take care that you have interest in electronics.
