Overall MNNIT in 2026, in my point of view.
Placements: In my course around 82 percent of students got placed, with the highest package of 72 LPA, the lowest 10 LPA, and an average of 22 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, IBM and others in tech fields. In core fields, L&T, Tata Steel, JSW, Mahindra, etc. Around 12-15 percent of students got internship offers mainly from Amazon, Salesforce AI, Infosys, and emerging startups. VLSI designing, Embedded system engineer, IT sector jobs are offered.
Infrastructure: All essential facilities are available like Wi-Fi in hostels, air-conditioned classrooms, library, and well-equipped labs for different branches. The infrastructure is a little old and work is going on to improve the NIRF ranking. Hostel quality is not that good for 2nd and 3rd year students and the mess is par, dispensary is available 24/7, and sports and games facilities are not so much developed but better than some other NITs.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Many have done a PhD from prominent NITs and IITs of India, and the teaching quality is also good. I would say that it is a relevant and strict course that makes us industry-ready as well. It lacks in many other sectors. Semester exams are difficult and need good preparation to ace them. Pass percentage is usually 80-85 percent and students get supplementary and back as well in a few subjects.
Other: Electronics and Communication Engineering is a new beginning of independent India it gives you the choice to either go into the software domain or the core domain, it's based on your interest. Infrastructure for sure and zero attendance policy. All other things are quite good.

College has a lot of potential.
Placements: More than 80 percent of students who sat for the placements got placed. The highest package is around 72 LPA, the average is 22 LPA, and the lowest is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, Samsung, Nvidia, MediaTek (core roles) along with Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Adobe, and other tech companies for software roles. Top roles offered include VLSI Design Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Communication Engineer, Software Development Engineer (SDE), Data Engineer, and Analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are kind of old but the hostel is good. Labs are good but the equipment in labs is old and sometimes doesn't work. Wi-Fi is there. The library is there but it close at 10:00 PM. Food in the mess is good. Late-night canteen is there but it's not free. There's a dispensary for medical issues and is free for checkups and free medicine (except for some of them). We get health insurance too. Sports facilities are good. There's a ground, tennis court, badminton court, and a basketball court.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable and the teaching quality is good. It's just that you need to pay attention in class and attend regularly. The course is pretty relevant and does help in making the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very tough ECE subjects are tough on their own. The passing percentage goes around 30 percent.
Other: I chose this course keeping in mind the booming semiconductor industry. ECE is an evergreen branch. It's just that it's tougher than other branches. Events in this college are decent, the crowd is good, connectivity is good, and campus surroundings are also good as it is in the main city. The scholarships are of various kinds for UP students. There's the UP scholarship and for students from other states and there are other state scholarships. Many different kinds of extracurricular activities are available like yoga, NSS, etc.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, but the college is good because of the students and the environment.
Placements: 81.82% of ECE students got placed in 2025. The maximum package is 72 LPA, the minimum is 4.5 LPA, and the average is 22.98 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Samsung, Intel, AMD, Cisco, ST Microelectronics, Nvidia, and Texas Instruments. 20% got internships in ECE. 20-30% (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Flipkart, Qualcomm, Texas, Intel). Top roles of my course (Software Development Engineer, Data Analyst, Hardware Code Role).
Infrastructure: Average lab instruments are not in good working condition. Wi-Fi is good; classrooms are typically old, built with damaged batches and are not that well-maintained. The floor of the hostel is messed up, so crowded, and water and cleaning facilities are not properly available. The mess is okay, not that good. Sports facilities are in good condition, and proper practice is active for inter-college matches.
Faculty: Not many teachers are qualified, but they're not good at teaching. I like teaching quality more in local colleges. The course curriculum is properly relevant. It’s slightly different but still meant for the branch. Semesters are required, much more difficult, and you must fulfil the criteria to be educated.

Placements increase yearly, average infrastructure, strong placement, and coding culture.
Placements: About 90 percent of students got placed. The average package is about 18 LPA and the highest is 52 LPA. Recruiting companies are like Nvidia, Qualcomm, Disco, Salesmen, and American Express. More than 20 students got internship offers in companies like Diso, American Express, Nvidia, and commonly interned in software domain companies, and a few got interned in core electronics. The top roles offered are SDE engineers.
Infrastructure: Department infrastructure is above average, labs are good, Wi-Fi connections are good, classrooms are average, and library facilities are really the best. The hostel facility is okay and the mess food quality is average can't be considered good. The canteen and medical facilities are good enough. Sports and games facilities are good also.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful to us students and teaching quality is above average. Subjects are course curriculum related and core and the software domain makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are hard and the pass percentage of my branch is 100 percent.
Other: I had chosen this course because I have a lot of interest in electronics devices so I decided to take this branch. The best thing about this course is that the industry is shifting from software to electronics and a lot of demand for electronics engineers will be in the future. Events and fests are good and all other things are also good.

Really good placement statistics. The only thing the college lacks is in infrastructure.
Placements: The placement records are very good. In my branch last year, the placement percentage was 85 percent. The highest, the lowest and the average package offered are 72 LPA, 8 LPA and 23 LPA. Some of the top hiring companies are Google, Nvidia, AMD, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Apple, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, sports facilities are also poor. First-year and final-year hostels are very good. Apart from these 2nd and 3rd year hostels are in very poor condition, with small-sized rooms with a single almirah shared by 2 people. Also, the class conditions are not very good.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified but they are not good at teaching. About 30 percent of the teachers are good at teaching, others just read the PPT and expect students to study it on their own. However this is the case for all Government engineering Colleges of India, even IITs.
Other: I opted for this course because I had an interest in chip making and due to the future boom in the semiconductor industry.

Average campus experience but exceptional placement opportunities.
Placements: In ECE almost 80 percent of students got placed. DE Shaw gave 72 LPA, which was one of the highest packages from ECE. Most popular companies consider MNNIT Allahabad. Getting on-campus internships is not easy in ECE around 20 students got internships, of which 15-16 were from the software domain, and 5-6 students were from the core ECE domain. CPI matters a lot in our college 8.5 CPI is always considered safe. Everyone is encouraged to get 8 plus CPI and 7 plus CPI in the worst-case scenario.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is below average in my opinion. Mess is dirty and there is no option for non-vegetarians. Wi-Fi is only available in hostel and it's also not reliable. Medical facilities are good. Sports facilities are below average. The library is good but not large enough for the number of students we have. The academic building is below average classes are old with no Wi-Fi facilities. Many don't even have enough charging slots. Very few have AC.
Faculty: Faculty of our department is strict, but all of them are qualified and well-knowledgeable. Teaching quality varies from professor to professor, but we can't depend on professors only we have to understand the subject from YouTube lectures from different teachers. Course curriculum is okayish, not very modern but not too outdated. Semester exams of our department are relatively tougher than other departments of our college. But almost all students pass only a few fail the exam.
Other: Fests are below average. Allahabad as a city doesn't have much to offer, so outside the college campus there is not much to do. There should be non-vegetarian food in the mess for those who want it. ECE is good for those who want to explore whether they want to go for the software domain or for the core domain. There is a strict intime for girls, even for those who are in final and pre-final year.

The placement records are awesome.
Placements: The placement records are very good. In my branch, the placement percentage is around 85%. The highest, lowest, and average packages offered are 72 LPA, 8 LPA, and 23 LPA, respectively. Some of the top hiring companies are Google, Nvidia, Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and sports facilities are poor. This college is mainly known for academics, which is one reason for having fewer sports facilities. Talking about hostels, the first and fourth-year hostels are very good, but the second and third-year hostels are in poor condition.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, but not all of them know how to teach effectively. Only a fraction of teachers are good at explaining concepts clearly. The semester exams are of moderate to great difficulty. Students cannot pass by studying only one night before the exam. The curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because of the future growth in the semiconductor industry.

MNNIT reviewed under 2 minutes.
Placements: Placement stats for MNNIT are better among other NITs. Around 90 percent of eligible students get placed from here, with the highest package being somewhere around 70–75 LPA, which may vary every year. The average package varies according to branch and other industry-demand-related factors but generally ranges between 16–22 LPA for ECE. For further data on top recruiting companies and internships, visit the MNNIT website.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of MNNIT is below par according to the reputation it has among the top NITs. Labs are well maintained, but they can be improved further, and hostel facilities need the most improvement. Free Wi-Fi is available in the hostels. Food quality is good, but again, there is always room for improvement.
Faculty: Professors are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, but students need to put in the most effort themselves. The course is NEP-based. Semester exams are divided into mid and end semesters. Passing the semester is easy, but maintaining a good CPI needs effort.
