It has excellent tech placements and coding culture. The infrastructure needs an upgrade.
Placements: Placements are decent in Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, especially for CSE, IT, and ECE branches. Core branches also get opportunities, but students need to work on their skills themselves. Many companies visit the campus every year with good packages.
Infrastructure: The academic buildings and labs are good enough for studies and practical work. Wi-Fi and library facilities are useful for students. Hostel life is enjoyable, though maintenance and cleanliness can be improved in some hostels. A gym is available for free. There is no need to pay extra for it.
Faculty: Most faculty members are supportive and experienced. The teaching quality depends on professors. The course curriculum is fine and gives basic industry knowledge. Exams are manageable if we study regularly before sessions. Exams are not that difficult.

College is decent. Placement-wise, very good, but campus life is not so good.
Placements: Placement of our college is very good, actually one of the best placements in NIT, especially the CSE placement, which is approximately 28 LPA, which is very good in NIT colleges. So placement is not a big worry for students, almost everyone gets a very decent package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, is, I say at weaker side, campus is not a big building, the classes are very old and boring, and the hostel facility is not good. First and last year hostels are good, but the second or third are very bad.
Faculty: The faculty is not good, you have to make an effort on your own, do not rely on the professor. The curriculum is very strict, too many classes, especially in ECE, and my branch of electrical engineering and exam is also hectic, too many subjects, way too many random extra subjects.
Other: The crowd and campus life are decent.

It's good. At the start, it could be humbling.
Placements: Electrical branch students have the opportunity in both tech and core. The internship is not that good, but you can be secure about placement if you work hard. Make up your mind in 1st year and work towards it. The average package is around 20-25 LPA, though you really have to work hard.
Infrastructure: CSE labs are good, though in our labs, many equipments does not work. 4-5 people's group perform a single experiment, it's miserable, even classrooms of the core department other than electrical have some miserable classrooms, sometimes rain water pour through their ceilings.
Faculty: The course is good. Sem exams are not that difficult if you study daily (which is quite hard if you're someone like me), but if you put a little bit efforts consistently, it's not that tough. Some teachers are quite strict in grading, but not all of them. Others are good.

Overall, college is good in placement, faculty, course structure, and strict in rules.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of students get placed in the electrical branch. The highest package is around 70 LPA, the average is 22 LPA, and the minimum is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Most students prefer to go for the software domain, and if you prepare for placement, then you can get placement easily, around 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not that much decent like other NITs, all the facilities are available like Wi-Fi, LAN, classrooms, and library which are fine but 2nd and 3rd year. Hostels are not that good but the facilities in hostels are fine. Mess food is also good, fully vegetarian, only eggs are available in the canteen. Medical facilities are also fine, an ambulance is available 24 hours, and the college dispensary is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are so many sports and club societies in college so you can follow your passion as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very fine. The course curriculum is relevant to the field and it makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in the college is moderate to tough. If you study, then you can pass otherwise you have to face the back exam.
Other: I chose this course because I want to explore PSU jobs and electrical power systems and control systems in our college labs, so we can convert our theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. The course structure is good, and events are also very good in this college in Culrav x Avishkar, we enjoy 7 days after the odd semester end. Connectivity is also good with a nearby railway station, 2-3 km from campus.

It has great placements but less space, so sports facilities are limited.
Placements: About 79.29 percent of students got placed in the year 2025. Most of them opt for tech roles. The highest package offered is 63.78 LPA and the lowest package offered is 8 LPA. The average package offered is 22.14 LPA in electrical, and the overall average package offered is 20.43 LPA. Students from any branch can go out for tech jobs, and the only requirement is their CPI. A total of 558 companies visit the campus. Students got internships in good companies based on their skills.
Infrastructure: The electrical department has versatile facilities. However, most of the instruments in labs do not work properly and are quite old. Classrooms have wooden sitting benches and are equipped with the internet. The hostel for 1st year is quite good with spacious rooms accommodating 4 students and some with 3 students as well. The mess serves pure vegetarian food. The menu is decided by the mess committee, headed by students only.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely great in this department, and are always helpful. They are knowledgeable, and one can view their profiles on the college's website. The core subjects begin with basics, going uptill electronics as well in later semesters. Semester exams are, as usual, with questions not too difficult in the initial semesters. Students who study can gain good grades.
Other: The campus is quite well accomplished. Though it is smaller than other colleges, it has good facilities and a lush green campus. However, the movement is limited for boys as they are not allowed to pass through the underpass. I wish the college would change instruments in labs with new ones because they are not working properly now, like some kits have wrong ammeter readings, etc.

Satisfied, you have very good opportunities and environment, and placements are good.
Placements: Placement ratio is quite good, but it all depends on your skills and ability here. One should not think that the college tag will help him. As an electrical guy, it is quite difficult to get a job in the software domain, although it is a circuit branch, but the priority of tech companies is always CSE, ECE, and then EE comes for them. For a high-paying job, you will look forward to a software job, for that, you need to work on your skills from the very beginning. Although if you try, you will get a great job. You get many opportunities over here. Although this year, placement for EE is not that good. The highest package for last year was 63 LPA, and the average was about 22 LPA. Also, the internship record decreased this year, indicating that we have to increase our efforts for a good job.
Infrastructure: Facilities over here are decent and good, but talking about infrastructure, it is not up to the mark. The building is old and not very attractive or aesthetic. Classrooms are also okay types. Labs are maintained well, and all equipment is there. Free Wi-Fi is available in every building and hostel. Hostel facilities for 1st year students are really very good, nice rooms, washing machines, and good food. But the 2nd and 3rd year boys' hostel is not good. Medical facilities are provided with good canteens. Sports grounds are well-maintained, but equipment is not provided by the college. College is very small.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and quite helpful. Teaching quality is not up to the mark, you have to study on your own mostly. The course curriculum is relevant and useful for students. Semester exams are not very tough, you can easily score above 8 CPI even if you start studying late. The passing percentage is not very high, you have to score more than 15 marks for a 70-mark written exam, including mid and end sem. Although you have to manage your labs and projects properly, it is not a very tough task. Classes remain off for Saturday and Sunday.
Other: Events over here are decent, if you have a good friend group, then you will enjoy. But don't expect too much from this college. As it focuses more on academics, our exams and all events are postponed. The freshers' party is also very bad. Scholarships are provided.

Awesome placements and crowd, decent enough infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: The placements here are awesome, as reflected by the states. 72 percent of the students are placed on campus with a median package of 12.5 LPA. Other than the core sector, students are also placed into the technical sector as well. In our college electrical engineering students can sit for both core and technical roles.
Infrastructure: The labs are well equipped. Some equipments are old but the majority is in good condition. The first year hostel is great with a small garden in the front and back side and also a badminton court on the ground floor. The mess food is decent and edible, but definitely not something one will look forward to.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. Some faculty members are really helpful and supportive while others are rigid and cranky. Most of the senior faculty members are old, therefore, they are not very helpful. Most of the faculty members teach in the class very poorly so that half the time you will be falling asleep. The curriculum is really well designed for someone aiming for the core sector it also has some CSE related courses as well. The exams are not very hard to pass. You can good CGPA with just 1 week of studies before the exams start, given you pay at least some attention in class. Teacher assistants (TAs) are responsible for helping the students perform the experiments and are very helpful.
Other: The events and fests are good but some people might find them too restricted, like with the strict rules in times etc. The campus is decent, has all the major sports facilities except swimming. The campus has greenery but is small. A large area of the college is reserved for the faculty members and female students where guys are not allowed.

Satisfied because of good placements, good infrastructure, and good professors.
Placements: 75 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is about 60 to 65 LPA while the average is about 22.14 LPA. Top companies include Amazon, Google, Uber, Ola, Zomato, Swiggy etc. The top role is in Software Engineering. Other roles are of the front end and back end.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good. The quality of food in the mess is above average but the canteen, medical facilities, and sports are of very good condition. Wi-Fi facility is available with a good speed. Classrooms and library have good infrastructure and are very useful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified. The course curriculum is a little bit outdated. Semester exams are not that difficult but not very easy as well. The passing percentage is different in different subjects. Teaching quality is good and we can easily see what professors have taught.
Other: I chose this course based on my JEE rank. The best thing about my course is that it is not very difficult. One thing that I wish will be better is the quality of curriculum which is very outdated. Fest, events, connectivity, and extra activities are good.

Hii. For getting into MNNIT Allahabad you need to give jee mains and get 200+ marks in that.Further you need to have very good percentage in boards but if you are applying next year yhen board marks are being excluded from the rank process so you need to focus on mains and get marks around 231.
