NIT Warangal NIRF Rankings 2025 are out. NIT Warangal has been ranked 28 under the 'Engineering' category by the NIRF Ranking 2025.
- The TG ICET 2026 registration will tentatively start in March 2026 for admission to MBA and MCA courses, and the exam will be conducted on May 13, 2026 & May 14, 2026.
- The IIT JAM 2026 admit cards can now be downloaded from the official portal for admission to the MSc course. Further, the IIT JAM exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on Feb 15, 2026.
- The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.

National Institute of Technology Warangal is a self contained residential campus located in a beautiful wooded land of about 248 acres. It is located near to Kazipet at a distance of 3 Kms from Kazipet Railway Station and 12 Kms from Warangal Railway Station.
Students are given admission in the MBA courses at NIT Warangal through Common Admission Test (CAT). Aspirants can apply for MBA with a valid MAT scores. A merit list is prepared based on the CAT Percentile of the candidates. NIT Warangal MBA admission is done through a merit list of entrance tests. Based on CAT scores, candidates are then called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI) round for final admission.
To apply for the National Institute of Technology Warangal MCA course, candidates need to apply for the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET). Eligible students are then required to appear for the NIMCET entrance exam. NIT Warangal MTech total tuition fee is INR 1.4 lakh for the two-year programme. The total course fee is inclusive of other components as well such as hostel fee, mess fee, security charges, and more. Candidates have to pay the tuition fee semesterly/annually. While charges like security fee is only one-time chargeable. The tuition fee mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
BTech fees at NIT Warangal is INR 5 lakh for four years duration. Candidates must note that the given fee details are as per the sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.
The application fees for JEE Main is
- INR 1,000 for Male unreserved, OBC, EWS category candidates
- INR 800 for Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category candidates

Candidates receive a refund of caution deposit, hostel fee and mess advance after deduction of INR 5,000 and mess charges, if any on cancellation of admission before the date of commencement of class work at NIT Warangal.
For cancellation on or after the date of commencement of class work, caution deposit and mess advance is refunded. Hostel is not refundable.

Yes, NIT Warangal offers MCA specialisation based on NIMCET scores. NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs, for admission in to their MCA programme. The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal and IIIT at Bhopal. NIT Warangal Courses & Fees 2025 FAQs
To apply for the NIT Warangal MTech course, candidates must apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering also known as GATE. NIT Warangal admits students on the basis of candidates' performance in the GATE entrance test. The final selection is based on CCMT counselling process. The counselling body releases a cutoff list for each counselling round. Students with a score equal to or more than cutoff marks become eligible for seat allotment.
