NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Admission 2026: Application, Eligibility, Fee and Seats

NMIT Bangalore offers admission to candidates based on their entrance exam scores. Nitte University conducts NUCAT or Nitte University Common Admission Test for admission to BTech, MTech, MBA ad MCA courses. The test is conducted for 120 minutes in online mode. Hence, aspirants do require passing entrance test for admission to these programmes.

Candidates who have passed BCA/ Bachelor's Degree in CSE or BSc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level and must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1) can apply for MCA programme at NMIT Bangalore. Aspirants should have relevant documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 from any recognised board with Physics & Mathematics as optional subjects with a minimum of 45% aggregate can apply for BSc (Hons) programmes at NMIT Bangalore. NMIT Bangalore KCET cutoff 2024 has been concluded for BE specialisations. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks varied between 12227 and 117705. Therefore, for the General AI category candidates, it is possible to get admission to the college at 40,000 rank. The specialisations available at 40000 rank are B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and B.E. in Civil Engineering. 

Among the General Home State quota candidate, the last round closing ranks varied between 13725 and 138385. Thus, for the General HS quota candidates also, admission to NMIT Bangalore is possible. The specialisations available at 40000 rank are B.E. in Civil Engineering and B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Nitte Meenakshi application fees for NUCAT is INR 1,000 which is mandatorily need to be paid by candidates to complete the registration process. The application fess is non-refundable and cannot be claimed back by candidates once it is paid. NUCAT is required for admission to any of the UG or PG programmes.

The NMIT offers admission to candidates via different procedures:

• Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) by which 45% seats of total intake is filled.
• 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test, which is also conducted by Karnataka Govt.
• 25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota.
• AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake

The college offers a 5% of marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology offers BSc in full-time mode for the duration of 4 years. NITTE Meenakshi Bangalore offers BSc on the basis of merit and valid entrance exam scores of accepted entrance exam such as NUCAT.
