Great placements and infrastructure with active student life at NIET.

Placements: I am from the B.Tech CSE batch of (2022-2025). Around 85% of students are placed. The highest package offered is around 44 LPA (by Atlassian), and the lowest is about 3 LPA, with an average of 5.5 LPA - 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture. A good number of students also got placed in product-based companies. Nearly 70% of students received internships from companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, and some startups. Top roles offered are software engineer, business analyst, data analyst, and full-stack developer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is modern and well-maintained. Classrooms are smart labs are well-equipped, and the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Library is large with both physical and digital content. Hostel rooms are decent with attached washrooms. The mess food is average but hygienic. These are facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, including a gym, basketball court, cricket ground, etc. There is a medical room with 24X7 first-aid support.

Faculty: Most faculty members are experienced and supportive and a few more are from IITs and NITs also. Teaching is based on both theory and practical. The curriculum is up-to-date with industry needs, including new-age gadgets like AI, ML, and IoT. Semester exams are manageable, and the pass percentage is around 90%, if you attend lectures regularly and study properly.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in coding. The best part is the coding culture and peer learning environment. I wish they improved the placement support for core branches as well. Events happen bi-monthly like Avishkar and Josh which attract the students of college a lot. Also, Technical Guruji (Gaurav sir) visited our campus few months back, to shower some knowledge upon us.
