Placements are decent, but HR expects students to have extra skills.
Placements: 90% of students who opt for placements are placed. Placement training is provided from the 1st year of college until the final year. Packages range from 2 LPA to 18 LPA. Accenture and CAT are the top recruiters. Internships are researched by students themselves. The Data Analyst role is very popular.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are average compared to other colleges. The library is well-equipped with a lot of collections of literary works. Hostel Wi-Fi and food are good. Sports are given a lot of emphasis. Basketball courts are the best here, and the football field as well.
Faculty: The staff is very helpful and approachable. Everyone, both teaching and non-teaching staff, is ready to help students anytime. The non-teaching staff, including the security personnel, are very friendly. The courses are very future-ready and encourage students to pursue additional courses and certifications. The pass rate is 95%.
Other: The course is very future-ready, so I chose this. Cannot expect banger culturals, but there is some entertainment.

A very good college having excellence in education and innovation.
Placements: In general, 70 to 90 percent of the students actually get placed in top companies including Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. The top roles offered in the data analytics course include that of data analyst, data engineer, marketing analyst or in the IT sectors.
Infrastructure: The students have an easy access to high speed wifi throughout the campus. The infrastructure includes labs, classrooms and library. Different varieties of food with nutritious diet is provided in our hostel. Medical facilities are good here. Sports and games are conducted in a way beneficial to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are really good with degrees in their own field like PhD in data analytics. Moreover, they are knowledgeable in the latest trends. They help the students to get engaged in many researches and projects which are really helpful for us. Semester exams are quite moderate. Overall, the course completion requires 50-60% passing marks.

My chapters in PSGCAS from 2023 to 2024!
Placements: My course is one of the most demanding courses right now. I have nearly 65 classmates in my batch. Most of my department staff are kind to us. There is a comparatively high placement rate in my course. Most of my seniors are placed in well-known companies with high packages!
Infrastructure: My block is moderate in my college, whereas new blocks like the commerce block are completely furnished. In my block, we have nearly six computer labs. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors. The hostel infrastructure is good, but I am not aware of the food as it depends on individual preferences!
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and really friendly with us. Most of the faculty members put in their 100% effort to improve our knowledge and skills. More than the syllabus, our college concentrates on extracurricular activities, domain work, career guidance, etc. The syllabus and exams are moderate!
Other: One of the best decisions I made was to choose our college, as we have many benefits like cultural events, add-on credits, good placements, qualified faculty, and more. But choosing the course wisely is mandatory!

Good placements, avg infrastructure and hostel life, well experienced faculty members.
Placements: Around 60% - 70% of the students were placed while most of the students relied on the off campus placements. 15 LPA was the highest package offered to students while some students even went for a saddening 2-3 LPA. I felt like product based companies where the ones who showed up the most comparing others. Around 80% of the students got the internships in well reputed companies like JPM, CISCO etc. While others ( who didn't show up for the internships ) were pushed to do projects in the campus itself.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructures are really good with a vibrant environment and greenery. The college was built in late 1950's, so the buildings are not built with modern technologies. The campus looks old to be honest. The hostels are not upto the mark. The restrooms are not clean in the hostels and the mess food is pretty average. Totally the hostel experience was very mid meanwhile the college campus is far better.
Faculty: The teachers are really nice. They motivate us hard to do projects, go for summer interns and boost our moral values are well. Most of the faculty members are well experienced. Their guidance really meant a lot for our class. The exams are decent enough. Not so hard or easy either. We need to think logically and answers (just page filling won't fetch you grades). .
Other: I choose this course only for the word of mouth. The events in the college are very often and it's so engaging. Every month we are held up with new activities ( either some club works or some cultural works etc. ). The college supports sports as well.
