Absolutely 90% placement, a very good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Minimum 50% and maximum 75% were placed. Highest salary is 13 LPA, and the lowest Salary is 4 LPA. Caterpillar and TCS are the top companies for our course. More than 60% students will get internships from our college. Production manager is the top role.
Infrastructure: We have a CAD CAM lab, and we have a separate block for our course. Food quality is expected as hostel food, not very good or less good. We have grounds, a football and a basketball court. In our hostel, we have clinic for 24 hours. Lots of sports are here, and a gym also.
Faculty: We have qualified faculty members, and their teaching was very professional. Course made students industry-ready. More than 70% students passed in the semester exams. Exams are not so difficult if we cover the daily syllabus. We can also be guided by teachers if we have any struggles.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for it. If we have more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge, it would be better. Our college will conduct more events related to education, and we will do a lot of projects.

My experience as an aspiring production engineer.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is 20 LPA - 30 LPA. The lowest package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Siemens, Tata Motors, Maruti, Caterpillar, etc. Around 20-30% of students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: We have specialized CAD/CAM labs. Library is there for our department. We have an open laboratory for experimenting with new ideas. There is Wi-Fi throughout the campus with varying internet speeds. The quality of food is moderate to good differing each day. The canteen food is absolutely good. There are clinics inside our hostel and sports complex inside our hostel.
Faculty: Professors are highly experienced and qualified. The teaching quality is exceptional. This course is highly valued especially for girls, it is easy to bag a job. The semester exams are difficult but with due preparation throughout the semester, we can ace them.
Other: I wanted to do some course related to core engineering so I preferred this course rather than mechanical engineering. There are numerous events like kriya intrams prodothon, hostel day, etc.

My college life, unfiltered.
Placements: Around 48 to 50% of students got placed.. Some of them are going to pursue higher education, while some have opted for civil services. The top recruiting companies are Caterpillar, Tata Motors, Siemens, BMW, Benz, etc. Women have more advantages in placements, as companies prefer women.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are good. We have excellent and well-equipped lab facilities and a large library. Wi-Fi is there, but the signal is not good everywhere. Hostel facilities are moderate to good. Some blocks are very good, like Q Block, and it depends on personal preference. The food quality is moderate, and there aren’t many changes in the menu.
Faculty: The faculty here are highly experienced and qualified professors. The teaching quality is exceptional. This course makes students highly ready for industries due to its practical learning experience. The semester exams are moderate to difficult, depending on our preparation. The pass percentage of my batch is 87%.
Other: Kriya is the annual technical event, and Intrams is the annual cultural fest. The campus is in the main area of Coimbatore. The campus surroundings are filled with hangout spots.

My college experience during my first year.
Placements: Around 60% of seniors got placed while many got internship opportunities. The highest package is around 12 LPA. Many well-known companies like Caterpillar, Tata Motors, and Siemens recruit students. Around 20%-30% got internship for various roles in both core and software companies.
Infrastructure: We have so many labs which helped us to understand things practically. We have a library to refer to books and journals. Wi-Fi is provided but the internet speed varies at different places. Mess food is moderate. The canteen food is very good. We have a 24/7 medicine facility as our hostel is near PSG hospital. There are indoor badminton courts, gym, and grounds for playing cricket and football in our hostel premises.
Faculty: Teachers are highly informative and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Course curriculum is reviewed and revised based on current trends in the market which helps students bag placements. Semester exams are a little difficult but with adequate practice, we can easily crack them.
Other: I chose this course as it includes both core and software placements in it. There are so many events like Intrams Kriya in our college.

It is a good college with decent placement opportunities.
Placements: Above 90% of students who opted for placements were selected for various companies. The placement training commences earlier into the course (from 2nd year). The placement training in PSG College of Technology is one of the best in Tamil Nadu.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure despite covering less area. The hostel has 2, 3, 4 and 6 sharing rooms, with average infrastructure. Attached and common bathrooms are available. The hostel has Wi-Fi connectivity 24/7 if applied for it. A sports ground is available in the hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum of production engineering is industry-based, and the faculty members are all experienced and qualified. The classrooms are not the best, but the teaching quality and exams are good. Semester examinations are well designed to test the knowledge of the students.

For admission to BTech at PSGCT, candidates must have passed in Class 12 from a recognized board with a minimum 45% aggregate. Admissions in the college are offered on the basis of a valid TNEA or (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) score followed by counselling.
For MTech, selections are done on the basis of TANCET or GATE but the first preference is given to GATE score. The candidate must have a degree of BTech/BE in a relevant specialization from a recognized board for admission in a MTech programme.
