Overall RVCE is good in terms of placement and studies.
Placements: As of my branch, EEE 85% of my seniors are nearly placed with the highest package being 31 LPA the lowest being 6 LPA and the average being around 12 to 12.5 LPA. As for other electronic branches, nearly 80% of students are placed with the highest being 41.1 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA and the average is 14 LPA. As for computer branches, nearly 70% of students are placed (the percentage being low is due to high intake) the average package is 15 LPA the highest is around 90 LPA and the lowest is 6 - 4 LPA as an entire college has the highest package of 90 LPA. The average package is 13 LPA.
Infrastructure: Since the colleges are under construction nearly 30% of the colleges are inaccessible due to construction. The playground has become the parking area due to which sports can't be played where the lab and classrooms are well maintained and have a digital board due to now is your cooler you might feel hot in summertime. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good as compared to the other colleges so in the food area you won't have many complaints.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and others are pursuing to get their Ph.D. They are well qualified due to so many Ph.D. holders. Many companies come to collaborate with professionals and other teachers and give them projects then the professors and other teachers choose the students to work with them on the project so the opportunities here are good. The curriculum is the same as that of the other colleges so it's not that different. Semester exams are not that difficult but still, you have to study well to score well.
Other: One of the most shocks that I got after joining the college was that it's getting under-constructed and that here there is an EL thing which is experiential learning where you have to meet teams with your friends or other branch members. They have to work on a model or prototype that solves any world problem they take it very seriously. You will be awarded marks for this and this is as important as your internal marks so if you plan on coming to RV remember to make a team in the starting stages only.

A good college for a good knowledge base.
Placements: 60% of the students in our senior batch were placed with an average package of 25 LPA, with maximum package reaching 40 LPA. The companies recruiting were Siemens, ABB, Schneider electric. 80% got internships in multiple companies like BOSCH, Enerfra Power electronics engineer.
Infrastructure: Good quality food and maintained hostel. A big playground for football, cricket, volleyball but lacks basketball court. Also has an indoor badminton court. The college provides a secured Wi-Fi connection to all students and faculty members. Immediate medical assistance is provided in case of emergencies.
Faculty: Well qualified and helpful teachers with excellent student-teacher interactions. Course is specifically towards industrial uses with all technical knowledge. Exams are moderate tough to ensure a good understanding of the subject. Students are asked to focus more towards projects helping them to gain practical knowledge.
Other: Good crowd and good placement rates. It needs a basketball court and has old buildings. Technical events and fests are conducted regularly with interactions with industrial leaders.

I recommend students to join this college.
Placements: More than 98% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bosch, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, etc. Around 45% of students get internships in our course in companies like Google, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has dedicated labs for every department. Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the college. Classrooms are clean and have projectors. Hostel rooms and mess food are good. Hostel rules are good. There are dedicated sports clubs for all the sports activities like cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified with Ph.Ds in their respective domains. Teaching quality is good. They teach students using PPTs. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. The syllabus is vast and provides in-depth knowledge. Semester exams are tough. Students need to start preparing before 2 weeks.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in both the core and IT sectors. Extracurricular activities are entertaining. Fests are organsied every semester.

Review of R.V. College of Engineering.
Placements: Around 30-50 companies visit our campus to hire students. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. All students are placed in top companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in this college. The food quality is average. To get into the hostel, you need to book early and registration should be done as soon as possible. Our college also provides good medical facilities, sports, and games. More than 10,000 books are available in the library.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are experienced and knowledgeable. Most of them are Ph.D. scholars and all depend on the student's mindset on whether to pass or fail.
Other: Many fests are conducted like 8th Mile, e-cell, and others. State-level games are held. Technical and social activities like Rotaract, Raag, and Kannada Sanga are also conducted.

Our college provides great placements and faculty members.
Placements: Our college is known for its placements. This college offers internships and placements. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Amagi, Cisco, and many others. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is restricted in some places on campus. The speed is also very limited. There is no mobile network. There has been a lot of construction going on around this college. The library and classrooms are good. Sports facilities are good but due to construction, only 1 ground is available for playing.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable and helpful. Each department is very much qualified to industry standards. Many teachers have written several research papers and they also undertake different research and projects. Semester exams are moderately tough. The pass percentage is 95%.

Our campus is decent and provides the best placements.
Placements: There are about 65 students in our course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 25 LPA - 30 LPA by Qualcomm. The lowest salary package offered is around 10 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 13 LPA. Top companies are Qualcomm, Flipkart, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, etc. Top roles offered are executive officer, software engineer, marketing person, etc.
Infrastructure: There are 4 hostels on our campus for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The hostel is average. Washrooms are cleaned every day. Water availability is average but on every floor, there might not be a water cooler. The food quality is average. Breakfast is the best for meals. The canteen is good. There are 2 canteens in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in this college. Our course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. There are 3 internal exams known as CIE i.e., continuous internal evaluation and another one is SEE ie., a semester-end examination. Our batch experiential learning component has been introduced in which you have to research a topic and make PPT, there are also 3 phases of the EL component. The pass percentage is 40%. I have heard from seniors that teachers in our department are strict.
Other: I chose this course because I got this course in counseling. One can opt for various fields like electrical, electronics, and CS-based also if they work hard. There are 2 fests namely 8th Mile and Kannada Habba but due to covid, none of these fests happened for our batch. E-summit fest is also held. The crowd is fine and connectivity is also good. Scholarships are also provided to needy students. Extracurricular activities are also good. There is competition in every branch and students are good at this college.

It is a decent college and I am happy with it.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed from our college. If you study well in all your years and maintain a CGPA of 8.5, you will get a decent placement without taking into consideration your branch. More than 200 companies visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 67 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 16 LPA. About 40% of students who get an internship also get a PPO.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very good. It is a very small campus, spread over 17 acres. The buildings are old-fashioned. Hostels are decent, and the bathrooms are clean. The food quality is not good. I usually order food from Swiggy. There are not many food outlets on campus. There is only one main canteen. Its food is also average. Medical facilities are excellent. There are proper grounds for football and cricket. The badminton court is very good. There are also skill labs for respective branches.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. It is a very hard course. Teachers are good, but the subjects are very difficult. They try their best to make students study. They are very qualified. Almost everyone has a Ph.D. The first year is very easy. Anyone can score more than 9 CGPA in their first year. Teachers usually teach using a PPT and then send the PPT to the class group. The course curriculum is very relevant. They teach a lot besides the studies.
Other: Our course is EEE. It is the most difficult course in B.Tech. The only plus points are that it has two clubs of its own and that they teach students a lot about electricity. Students in our class are not good because they are always studying. No one talks about having fun in life. EE teachers should interact more with the students.
