Overall, a good tear-down 3-college in Kolkata.
Placements: Most of the students from CSE get higher chances of getting placed . ECE Electrical has less chances. The highest package is nearly 9 LPA and the lowest is sometimes up to 2.5 LPA . It depends on the company and the students. You have to find your internship in most of the cases. Most of the ECE students and other branch students get placed in IT roles. So if you want ECE-related roles, you have to find it yourself . As of now, in 2025 placement, the companies like Accenture and CTS are doing placement .
Infrastructure: No hostel, but nearby PG is available at a good price . Good labs are available for all the courses. Computer labs are very advanced, and all the software is available . Great facilities for sports and co-curriculum. good library facility. All the needed books will be provided by book banks .
Faculty: MAKAUT syllabus is not too much to say . There will be an exam the whole year. Sometimes there is not much gap between two semesters. But good faculty are available; they will help you out in every step. Semesters are not very difficult if you cover the syllabus . But people get backlog frequently for no good reason. You will not get to know much about how they calculate the result in MAKAUT , so that's a downside. Total 4 internal and a semester in a year, there will be 8 ca and 2 semesters.

A bit dissatisfied because of the placements but it was good previously.
Placements: The placements they provide are mainly tech companies hiring for IT and CSC people. For ECE, the percentage of students getting a chance in the core field is not that much but there are also examples going high on based on their skills.
Infrastructure: The faculty is too good; the infrastructure available is also good for Wi-Fi. There is a facility of having free college Wi-Fi to use it for academic purposes, but for that one needs to verify admission and one security checkup first . The classrooms are good; some of them are air conditioned. The library is there but according to me, it is too small, which can be enlarged by the authority.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly educated, with many holding PhD degrees. They are both highly qualified and helpful. This year, our college became autonomous, allowing for changes in the curriculum. The college will now set its own syllabus, which is expected to remove outdated topics and include new, trending, and relevant subjects.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in electronics and considering the current scenario of semiconductors in India. Hopefully, the semiconductor industry will see a significant boost in the next four to five years, creating many job opportunities. Campus life is good, with many events and fests. All the seniors are very helpful, and it is a completely ragging-free campus.

Overall, it's a good college. The faculty and the placements are also good.
Placements: 90 percent of the students have been placed in our batch. TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies for my course. Some of the students have done their internships before joining the job. The placements were good. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA and the highest package was 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Labs, classrooms and library were in a good condition and were very nice. We used to get all the books available in the library. The Labs were well structured. The food in the canteen was normal, not that good. Medical availability is good in the campus. Sports and games are very good.
Faculty: The faculty was very nice. We got very good and helpful teachers in our stream. The semester exam questions were normal, not that tough. If you listen to all the lectures in the classroom, the semester exams will become easy and not seem tough at all. The curriculum clears all the basic things regarding the industry.

Good faculty, they help you with projects.
Placements: This year, in the midst of the recession around the world, they have given 70% placement with an average package of 6 LPA. The company PWC recruited more than 60 people, and a student from the college got a placement in a health teaching company as an associate in hardware engineering.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel on campus, but there are many private hostels near the college. The classrooms are good. The labs have proper equipment to work with. Also, they let you use the lab equipment for project purposes if required, and permission is required.
Faculty: Good faculty; they are knowledgeable and will help you clear the concepts and do projects. In 2024, the college will become autonomous, so scoring marks won't be difficult. The curriculum is designed for industry and makes you ready for it.

Good infrastructure is there at the college.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed on college campuses. The average package is around INR 5 lacs per annum, and the highest is INR 13 lacs per annum. A few companies that come for campus recruitment are IBM, Tata, TCS, Infosys, Byjus, Tech Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is huge. There are two campuses: the old campus and the new campus. Both of them stand opposite each other. The old campus has a huge canteen with a pond view and a beautiful garden. There is also a big auditorium on the old campus. The new campus has a field for outdoor games. Classrooms are huge as well. Libraries, modern computer labs, etc. are also available.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified with a master's degree or a Ph.D. degree. The college is under MAKAUT, and the college follows the MAKAUT curriculum for exams and practicals. The teachers help us prepare well for the exam and clear all our doubts, as well as for the practical.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study engineering and had an interest in electronics and communication. The course can be made better by introducing modern learning methods, which play into the hands of MAKAUT.
