SVNIT placements are not much good, but faculty members are good.
Placements: About 60% of the students got placed in 2020 from mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, which was provided by L&T. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA in TCS. L&T and SR are top recruiting companies for our college. Around 20% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology. Departments are also good. Our college has good Wi-Fi, labs, library and classroom facilities. The hostel quality and sports facilities are also good here.
Faculty: In Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also quite average. Semester examinations are comparatively easy here, and almost all students have passed.

I am not satisfied because of placements, but it may be because of COVID-19 pandemic.
Placements: Until now, only 2 students got selected as interns from our course. As of now, placements are not offered to M. Tech mechanical branch students. It might be because of COVID-19 pandemic. However, yet CS and other departments had very good placements, and most of the M.Tech students already got placed. B.Tech also had good placements record for CS branch.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is average. However, libraries have good infrastructure but have less books which are necessary for course. Even they are open only 12 hours. Wi-Fi facility is also average, and when it works, it provides decent speed, but if not, it takes a good amount of time for maintenance.
Faculty: Some faculty members here are very good, while a few are not much good. But it is the same case in very well known universities also. Our college decided to update the course curriculum from now, but not this time. Maybe it will get updated in the next semester. Until now, some branches have good course curriculum while others don't. However, our branch curriculum is one of the best.
Other: Events are organised frequently, but major events of SVNIT had not been organised since last few years.
