The candidates to participate on the M.Tech programme at SVNIT Surat should have a degree of BE/BTech/B.Arch. They must obtain a minimum of 60 papers or 6.5 CGPA. The reserve to 55 or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD students. All categories are required to have a valid GATE score.

The highest package recorded during SVNIT M.Tech placements was INR 42 LPA which was given to CSE branch and Data Sciences. Furthermore, the second the highest package which was INR 27 LPA was given to VLSI.
