B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Digital Forensics and Cyber Security) - Batch of 2028

Best university in Faridabad .
Placements: There are approximately 80% of students in my course who got placed. The highest package of the college is 60 lacs per annum and the average is 4.5 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are KPMG, TCS and Deloitte. There are also intensive programs offered by the Dr. Bhiwala Foundation, which is under the university, that give the student a directive for their experience and strong resume.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing; there are very professional labs and grounds clubs, all of which are centralized in AC the hostel are pretty good and has a kitchen which gives home-like food, which the students very much enjoy. All the campus have built-in Wi-Fi facility, which is good and also have two main libraries centralized AC.
Faculty: The curriculum of the course is very good in the initial period; all the students have same syllabus, which consists of basic engineering in all field like Biology electrical engineering, AI mechanical engineering, etc. It is because if you want to pursue your Masters abroad, this basic knowledge will help you get admission to a university abroad.
Other: I wanted to pursue computer science engineering in B.Tech., so I opted for this college because it is the number one college in Delhi, NCR Faridabad but its fee is a little bit higher.

Underwhelming courses but amazing campus life.
Placements: The in-college placements are not top notch at all in Manav Rachna. There are only a few good companies which come like Infosys, TCS and HP. The rest of the companies which come are all below average they offer a low package of 4 Lacs PA. Also there no support and guidance from the college itself for clearing the placement interviews.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise Manav Rachna University is pretty decent. The Science labs are very well-equipped and they are well constructed with proper space to work, to sit and to conduct experiments. The library is also one of the main attractions of this college. With all the attractive interiors, tilted floors and comfortable sofas and chair the library is a place where students can easily spend hours. Also the staff is very friendly helps to maintain the decorum and keep it a place to sit and study in silence.
Faculty: The curriculum is one of the weak points in this college. The courses are not updated according to what industry demands and they are still teaching students 5-7 year old concepts in computer Science which honesty are now obsolete. They focus entire first 2 semesters on C and C+ languages which are completely useless in the market right now. They really need to update the courses and design they in harmony with jobs after a student is placed.
Other: I chose computer Science as it is one of the most growing in demand skill right now. But honesty I was underwhelmed with what I was taught in the 4 years of my degree. It was very surface level and obsolete. As long as the fests, live shows and events go manav rachna does a very good job. The campus is spread over 10 acres so there is a lot of space and huge grounds where events are held. Also the students come from all over NCR so it makes a beautiful crowd of diverse people from different backgrounds. It is a joy to be a part of these fests.

Teachers are helpful, campus is good, and it has 6 canteen, and average placements.
Placements: In this college, placements are average. The average salary pacakge offered is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.25 LPA in B.Tech computer science and engineering and specialization. Internships with Microsoft and IBM. It has the best placements in the CSE branch. If students study well they will easily get internships in 3 years.
Infrastructure: In this college, the Wi-Fi connection is decent, sometimes face problems I am connecting but manageable, CS laboratory is outdated but all PCs work well, and the library is very good and a variety of books are there. Hostel food is average, but more than 6 canteens on entire campus like Subway and Nescafe, sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, and many more are available.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful and qualified with great teaching skills. Semester exams are based on topics covered in lectures not difficult. Course more based on practical knowledge than only theory, and make students industry-ready by the end of 4th year.
Other: If students want to enjoy their 4 years of college life, then I would recommend students to take admission in it.

The placements of our college are decent and the majority of students from CSE, ECE, etc.
Placements: Around 40-50% of students are placed. The highest salary pacakge offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and HCL. Around 45% of students get internships in Wipro, HCL, and the roles offered are cracker and coder, tester, and analyst. Our placements season started in early August 2018 and I am confident of bragging a job in the early phase of the placements drive as I believed I have a decent CGPA with technical and speaking skills. The very first company that visited our campus in the new year is Aditya Birla Group.
Faculty: Our department facilities like Wi-Fi, laboratories, classroom library, and infrastructure are up to the mark. The quality of the food is also very good and hygienic. Medical, sports, hostel facilities all they are providing is best which fulfill all aspects of the students.
Other: I opted for this computer science engineering, because I wanted to become app developer. The best part is doing coding, and I love doing coding in C and Python. The campus provides scholarships to students who score good marks in the MRNAT exam.

The review of my college.
Placements: Students who secure more than 8 CGPA more of them get placed. The maximum package goes as high as 18-20 Lacs per annum and the lowest maybe 6-7 lakhs p. a. Recruiting companies Microsoft, IBM, Mitsubishi, etc. Students get internships if they don't have re-appear in past semesters in companies like oracle academies, Brain 'o' Vision, Agile Computing using Scrum, NPTEL-SWAYAM certification courses, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi but limited data. The labs are fully equipped with materials, instruments, machines, etc. Classrooms are A. C. equipped and the library has all the books related to the course and additional books for additional knowledge. As I'm a day scholar so don't know much about the hostel but as my hostel batchmates say good about the mess food and laundry cleaning. There is a lot of area for sports activities and different areas for different sports.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are knowledgeable and helpful and qualified. They finish the syllabus at moderate speed and students have enough time to revise for the exam. If children have doubts then they can ask after the lecture or during days topics are finished in class. Yes, the course curriculum is well designed for the mastery in the branch you have taken. Sessional exams are held after every 1.5 months interval and exams consist of good questions of moderate type and tough types and a student to pass secure at least of 40%.

The college is not recommended to anyone.
Placements: Almost 60-70% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Amazon, Capgemini and Coforge. Almost 5-10% of the students got an internship in companies like IBM, Amazon, Coforge, TCS and Josh Technologies. Top roles offered are a java developer and security jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. There are 2 big libraries, and they are maintained in a very good way. I highly recommend visiting there at least once. The Wi-Fi facility is available. The hostel facility is also above average, and the food is good and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified, and they used to teach from books. Especially this course is focused on cybersecurity and forensics, but most of the security-specific topics are not covered during the course time.

Good infrastructure, but I didn't find any benefit of taking specialisation course.
Placements: Around 75% of the students who were eligible got placed, and 40% of the students who were not eligible for placements. The highest package offered is 15 LPA, and only one student was offered that package in the whole college. Top recruiters were TCS and IBM, and many startups and MNCs also visited the campus. Software developer, tester, business analyst, and GET profiles were offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The campus is huge and is like a jungle. Libraries are great. Hotels facilities are available. Transport facilities are available that cover the whole NCR region. Local cabs and metro are also available to reach the college. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned.
Faculty: The teachers are good and knowledgeable. They never make any arguments. Some teachers are very good and can help you with your projects and internships. They also help you with practicing competitive coding and learning a language simultaneously that helps for placements. They help you keep your SGPA of minimum 7-7.5.
Other: A fest is organised once every two years. Last year fest was very lame, and organisers were poor. They didn't put much efforts.
