Placements: Approximately 40% of students in my course were placed. The highest package is ₹40,000 per month, the lowest is ₹20,000 per month, and the average is ₹30,000. Top recruiting companies include Flipkart, Zomato, and many more. Only 2% of students in my course got internships at Flipkart, and the top role offered is sales executive.

Infrastructure: Facilities include WiFi, labs, classrooms, a library, a ground, water purifiers, and more. There are no hostel facilities. The quality of food in the canteen is fantastic, and the medical facilities, sports, and games are also good. Our college has two buildings, which makes it more spacious.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified in their fields and subjects. The course is relevant for those pursuing a career in data science or data analytics. The exams can be a little difficult, and the passing percentage is 33.

Other: I didn’t choose this course; I got it through CUET. The best thing about this course is mathematics and its real-life applications. This answers the common question from school days—where will we use the factors or roots of quadratic equations? I wish there was more improvement in lab classes for subjects like numerical analysis. Our college organizes fests, events, and more. The campus has a large hockey ground, a medium-sized garden, a volleyball court, and a gym.

The insights of Shyam Lal College, Delhi University .

Placements: The placements at my college are pretty nice; as soon as you complete your course, the placement cell comes in action and starts working on it, and if you've been consistent and regular in your classes throughout the year, if your performance was good throughout your course, you can very easily get a nice placement in some nice company. The average package of my course is 10-12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very nice; all the facilities are available in a very easy way for all the students; we were also given the Wi-Fi password as soon as we entered the college; the canteen of our college is also really good; and the food there is very clean and affordable.

Faculty: The faculty of my college is really nice, helpful, understanding, and considerate; they're always ready to help you in clearing all your doubts and problems, doesn't matter how many times you ask them to; the teaching quality is also really nice; the semester exams are kind of moderate in terms of difficulty level, and the pass percentage is 63%.

Other: I chose this course and math as my major subjects because it has a nice scope, and when we got the option to select our electives subjects, I chose computer science as my minor so that it helps me with data research and analysis stuff in the near future. The campus life of my college is the best part about the college; all the extracurricular activities, societies, clubs and events, celebrity meet-ups—everything makes our college life something worth remembering.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by Byju's is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.3 LPA. Our college provides internship opportunities for students. The highest internship stipend offered is Rs. 17,000 per month. Our college provides good placements. B.Com students got the best placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with two buildings. Wi-Fi facility is available in the library as well as in computer labs. Our college has a sports ground. The hostel facility is not available in our college. Our college has a good canteen, which is very satisfying. Students spend most of their time in the canteen.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They guide very well. They make sure that the syllabus is completed on time. Exams are conducted on time with assignments and practicals for the assessment of students' capabilities. The course structure is very well-defined. Our teachers are very friendly.

Good Infrastructure and Excellent labs but poor placement.

Placements: There is almost zero placement in mathematics honours. Nobody in my class got placed. But some companies like accenture come in college for various job roles. College placement cell is almost inactive and rarely got any recruiting notification from them.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in college is very good. The Computer labs are fantastic and have all required software for course which are not generally present in other colleges. There is proper library facility where anybody can study peacefully. Sport grounds are also well maintained.

Faculty: Faculty of College is above average. Teachers are well knowledgeable and also very helpful. Some teacher teaches well while others do not. Curriculum is little more difficult to follow as anyone can expect from mathematics. Semester exams are really very difficult to pass but almost everyone passes it. Pass percentage is above 95%. .

Overall satisfied with college facilities and fee structure.

Placements: The Delhi University does not provide any placement neither off campus nor on campus for any course. However it provides internships regularly to the students which help them to gain experience and can be prepared for getting jobs in future in their respective fields.

Infrastructure: Overall the infrastructure is average. The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, libraries and water coolers are provided and maintained properly. Shyam Lal College does not provide hostel facilities so the students have to live in private hostels or flats available near the campus.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The curriculum is relevant to the course. The mode of semester exam is offline and the paper level is moderate to easy which varies every year. The passing percentage is 40%. .

Shyam lal college: An overview.

Placements: Well our college does have a placement cell and students with courses like Maths hons and economics hons, most of them gets placed, I have talked to my seniors, they say that SLC's placement cell, if you are educated and skilled there is very less chance you didn't get placed. Average pay is around 3-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure is good, college provides the students with Wi-Fi, it is functional in almost complete campus, computer labs are well maintained and of the latest version, classrooms are also furnished with proper benches and tables. Our college 's library contains various books of different categories and are great helpbto students.

Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and well experienced, they are our mentors in college, approach any teacher he/she will help you. Quality of education provided in SLC is very good, One who is willing to study will definitely gain something out of the college.

College is quite good but don't expect any placements. Teachers are helpful.

Placements: The placement rate for B.Sc. Hons mathematics is too low. Most of the students who pursue this degree are thinking about getting a Ph.D. or becoming a data scientist, not focusing on placement. Also, don't expect companies like Tata or other top companies to recruit from this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. However, the library is not like those of other colleges of Delhi University. The library is open from 9am to 4pm and is closed on weekends. There are only three labs, each with an average of 40 computers.

Faculty: The teachers are amazing and very helpful. Many of them are Ph.D. holders and very well educated. The course curriculum is very relevant and will help in higher studies. The semester examinations are not difficult, but if we are targeting a CGPA of 9 or more, then it is a challenge.

Other: I suggest that you join societies at your college.
