The facilities and placements are decent, but the fees are a bit high.

Placements: Currently, I am in the 1st year of the SGSITS Indore Electrical Engineering branch. Approximately 60% of the total students were placed in core and technical sectors. The highest package was 19 LPA offered by ORACLE Inc. in a technical role. The average was 7.5 LPA. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA offered by TCS. The top recruiters include Havells, Oracle, Deloitte, and TCS. The top roles were in core and technical sectors.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are decent, but the fees being charged for them are a bit too high. The classrooms and labs are equipped with all the required instruments. The library is good, and a lot of books are available here that are needed for every course. The food is decent, but again, the fees are very high. The total fees for a semester are 48,000 rupees. The sports facilities are not that good, but you can play almost all the casual games. The gymkhana is good and is equipped with all the workout equipment, and the charges are 400 rupees per month.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified, and almost all were PhD holders. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, but you can understand if you pay attention in class. The curriculum, I feel, is a bit outdated, which is the case with almost every engineering college. The semester exams are fairly tough, but you can score well if you attend the lectures and study a bit before the exam. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because, at my rank, I was not getting better branches at good colleges, and I wanted to go into the core sector also. My home is just 100 km from Indore, so that was another reason for choosing this college. Everything is fine, but I feel the fee is a bit too high. The tuition fee is 1,05,000 per semester, but you can also get a scholarship. There are no such fests at all in our college, sadly.

I am satisfied with this college and my branch. You can also prefer it.

Placements: There are about 60% of students placed in my course. The highest package is about 22.5 LPA and the lowest is about 4 LPA, with an average package of about 5.5 LPA according to the data of this year. About 80% of students got internships in companies like TCS, LG, etc., which provide roles respective to the branch.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is good; almost every facility is available in good condition. There are good classrooms, proper labs and workshops, and a huge common library. Hostels are also good with average mess food, a common dispensary for medical purposes, and good sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Faculty members are above average in my opinion. They are highly qualified and experienced. They teach us in a very amazing way, and we enjoy it. We can also learn so much there. The course is also relevant and prepares us for future aspects. Semester exams are average in difficulty.

Electrical Engineering is also a good option in SGSITS Indore.

Placements: There are about 60% of students placed in my course. The highest package is about 22.5 LPA, the lowest is about 4 LPA, and the average is about 5.5 LPA, which is good for a state college. Top recruiting companies are Zerodha, Goldman Sachs, LG, etc. About 80% of students got internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my department is also good. Almost every facility is available. Proper Wi-Fi is there, labs are there, and classrooms are also good. Hostels are also good, students live in peace. There is a common dispensary for medical purposes.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, they support us mentally, socially, and academically. They are highly qualified and experienced. They teach us in a unique way. The course curriculum is also good and relevant. Semester exams are not so difficult, if we study throughout the semester, we can clear them easily.

SGSITS : A place of study.

Placements: Placement in my college is good. About 80% of students sit for placements and among them, 65% got placed. The highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship also internship break is provided to students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not good very small campus with congested buildings. There are no medical facilities hardly one or two. Wi-Fi is there in poor condition. Hostels are also below average. Mess food is not good and hostel students complain regularly about it.

Faculty: Academically my college has a good teaching style. Teachers are extraordinary. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is also relevant and makes our industry-ready and also teach us skills in some classes. Semester exams are also good.

Review of electrical engineering in my college.

Placements: The electrical branch is one of the toughest branches as we all know and in my college about more than half students get placed. The highest package is 22 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, with an average of 10 LPA our branch prepares students in the field of electrical.

Infrastructure: Our branch has average infrastructure. There are not many buildings available only one building is for our whole department still the condition of the classes is good. There are a total of four hostels for all four years students, so they shift according and mess food, is also good.

Faculty: Faculty members of electrical engineering are outstanding as it is a state number 1 college so it is a very good college. Course curriculum is relevant and helpful. Teachers also support. Semester exams are average still many students face problems so overall is an average college.

What was the last year 2017 cutoff rank for the electrical branch in this college?

For electrical branch, the cutoff for home state was around 30 thousand and that for other states was 26 thousand for all India for General students. If you are around it, you have higher chances of getting in it. Going marks-wise, around 170 marks will easily get you EEE branch. Best of luck.

WIth the home state quota, you'll easily get EEE branch or at max ECE branch. If you are from outside MP, you'll then get civil or EEE. STATS: Last year cutoff. Best of luck.
