B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2026

Must avoid college, it used to be a good way back, but now it's just the worst.
Placements: Placements this year have been the worst across all the branches. Less than 50% of students are hardly placed in EC. Every passing year, placements are getting worse and worse. Forget about companies coming for internships. Better placements can be achieved off-campus.
Infrastructure: Age-old, outdated labs with a list of experiments that is many years old. Practical classes are just another theory class. Lab assistants are way too egoistic. Many pieces of lab equipment are not working properly. The hostel is the worst too. It's better to take apartments near the college.
Faculty: A few faculty members are good. Many are average to below average. The teaching of all the teachers is not such that you can understand the concepts just by focusing in class. You also have to put in a lot of effort outside the class on your own to understand. Semester exams are of a moderate difficulty level.

ETC is a decent branch of my college, you can go for it.
Placements: There are about 60% of students placed in my course. The highest package is 72 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is 11 LPA according to the data for this year. Top recruiting companies are Zerodha, Goldman Sachs, LG, etc. About 80% of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also good. There are Wi-Fi facilities available, and labs are there with proper arrangements. There is a huge library with lots of books in my college. Hostels are average with below average mess food, and decent sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They teach us in a very good manner, and we enjoy it. They are supportive and support us in many aspects. The course curriculum is also relevant. Semester exams are tough sometimes, but students who studied throughout the semester can easily pass them.

Review of Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: The placement data for my branch at college is good this year; the highest package, which is 72 LPA, comes from the ECE branch. This makes it a worthwhile investment, as it has an average package of about 9 LPA. Top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, among others.
Infrastructure: My department has a separate building where all facilities, including labs and Wi-Fi, are available. Additionally, there is a huge library on the college campus. The hostels are also satisfactory, and the mess food is average, but the sports facilities are excellent. F
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, providing us with mental, social, and academic support. They excel in every aspect, and their teaching style is impressive; they teach us by giving examples and entertaining us at times. The semester exams are not too difficult, and we can clear them easily.

It is a gorgeous institute in Madhya Pradesh.
Placements: Overall, on-campus placements are excellent in the core field. The average package for the electronics and telecommunication engineering course is around 18 LPA, and the highest package offered is 73 LPA, depending on our skills. For off-campus opportunities, we might get referrals from seniors. For IT and software roles, most companies allow ECE, MS, and EE students besides CSE, and some allow students from all branches.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided to us are very good. Wi-Fi quality is also excellent. Classrooms are well-maintained and have Wi-Fi access. Regarding hostels, the food available is average. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also well-maintained. The college has a very good atmosphere for concentration on studies.
Faculty: As an ECE branch student, I can say that the ECE faculty members are good, with some professors ranking among the top 2% of scientists in the world. Exams at SGSITS Indore are conducted very strictly, and no cheating is allowed. Strict action is taken against anyone caught there.

It is an absolutely gorgeous institute.
Placements: Placements are quite good at SGSITS Indore. In the electronics and telecommunication engineering branch, around 70% of eligible students get placed every year. On average, the percentage of students who get placed is around 65%. The highest package is 35 LPA every year for the electronics and telecommunication branch. The lowest package is around 6 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Paytm, PhonePe, etc. Around 35% of students get internship opportunities every year.
Infrastructure: SGSITS Indore is really too beautiful. There is so much greenery, and we will love it. We have one amazing cafe and SAC building where we can enjoy music, dance, and play indoor games. We have a market area where there is a confectionery shop and other grocery shops, a cafe, a stationary shop, a photocopy shop, a salon, and everything.
Faculty: Senior professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, especially for skills. Exams are not that difficult if we revise PYQs and we are easily able to score passing marks. The pass percentage can vary from subject to subject and as per their requirement in our course.

College is worth it for placement.
Placements: About 85% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 32 lakhs, the lowest package was 12 lakhs, and the average package was 15 lakhs. The top recruiting companies for my course include Deloitte, TCS, and Cognizant. Approximately 60% secured internships through my course at Deloitte, with the top roles offered being communication engineers.
Infrastructure: SGSITS offers well-rounded infrastructure on a 32-acre campus, featuring well-equipped labs for experiments, Wi-Fi facilities in the central library, decent and clean classrooms, and a robust book collection. The hostels are also decent and clean, and the messy food quality is hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They address students' doubts very quickly politely and respectfully. The teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is well-planned, making students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is appropriate, and the pass percentage is 33%.

The college is average.
Placements: 90 of students got placed last year in my course. The highest package offered was 35 LPA, the median package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are NVIDIA, RELIANCE etc. 50% of students got internships from my course. Top roles are about projects on microprocessors.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in the college are high-speed internet connection, well-equipped laboratories, well furnished classrooms, playground, the quality of the facilities in the hostel is not good, so renovation of hostels of SGSITS becomes necessary. The food available in college mess and canteen is average, sports like volleyball, football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. Their teaching methodology is the best, but some of the assistants are not that good. According to me the course curriculum is relevant and if students want to do something in their field then it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to difficult.

CSE is the best branch if we see in a long term as placements are more for that branch. SGSITS provides better placements from campus than JEC but SGSITS is costlier to afford. JEC is better place for economically weaker. In 1 lakh, you can complete your degree (only tuition fee is included).
