I have spent the best part of my life.
Placements: The college had an average placement rate, i.e., ranged between 60-70%. Maximum placements are offered at Sinhgad, Vadgaon. The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA approximately, and it was offered by TIA. The average salary package offered was around 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary package is offered for BPO jobs, i.e., around Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, Zensar, Persistent. Jobs are more offered to CS and IT students, and the roles are of testing and software development. The highest salary package offered in our course was 7.5 LPA for CS and IT student, and it was offered by TIA. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 1.44 LPA for call centre jobs. The college didn't provide internships.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge infrastructure and open area for sports. Facilities like medical facilities, Wi-Fi, library, swimming pool, sports ground, projector equipment classrooms, canteen, etc., are provided. The quality of the food served is okay. Hostel facilities are good enough, and the rooms are quite good. Wi-Fi facility is also provided in the hostel. In some hostels, 4 people stay in a room and in some, 2 students share a room. There is a playground for playing games like football, cricket, table tennis, for running and jogging. A medical checkup is done at free of cost.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite good and helpful. Some teachers have done their PhDs and are knowledgeable enough. They use PPT to explain the concepts. The course is designed by Pune University, and Sinhgad follows it. It is more oriented to theoretical, and some practicals are also included.
Other: I have chosen this course because there is a scope in computer engineering. The course can be improved by providing more extracurricular activities.

It is a great college with a great atmosphere.
Placements: Around 60-65% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA by a company called amazon web services for software development. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.44 LPA which was offered by emphasis and amazon for BPO jobs. Some prominent companies like Infosys, Accenture hired around 600 students from Sinhgad Institute of Technology, TIA, amazon web services showed up. The top roles offered to computer engineer were a tester, software developer, web application developer. The highest salary package offered in our course was 7.50 LPA which was offered by TIA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.44 LPA for BPO jobs. The average salary package offered was around 3-3.5 LPA. College does not provide internship to the students.
Infrastructure: The college is spread across 200 acres, and it is situated on the mountain hill. The college provides great infrastructure and facilities like a library, auditorium, swimming pool cricket ground, football ground, Wi-Fi, computer labs, canteen, medical facilities, etc. The hostel rooms are quite good, and the food is not that great. The food is served twice. Hot water is provided for bathing from 6 am to 9 am in hostels. The canteen has a variety of food items, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The sports facilities are great, and separate cricket, football ground, badminton, table tennis court, and swimming pool are provided. A medical checkup for students is held every year for free.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Some teachers teaching style is great, but some don't know how to teach. Some teacher read the powerpoint slides and finish the lecture. The course curriculum is mostly theoretical and some practical, which makes it difficult for a student to have practical exposure, and it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I saw a great future in coding. The college can improve by providing internship, changing some teachers, providing more practical knowledge. The college organises an annual fest called Surbhi. The college has a huge crowd around 1000 students in one year. College is situated on a hilltop which is 3 km away from the railway station, and students have to take an auto-rickshaw. The college provides admission based on CAP round and through management quota. If you take admission through CAP round, scholarships would be provided to caste students. The college also hosts events like tectonic.
