Excellent faculty, Best Campus, Good research work.
Placements: Placements are okay but you will get job at where you have done your project. The package is between 3 to 4 LPA. Job will be of technical field only. Students are getting internship very easily and stipend will be dependent on the company. Yes, for study and research purpose it is good department in power system and there are so much experienced faculty here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best among all the engineering university of Gujarat. You will get good libraries and technical labs here. Switch gear and protection lab, PDC lab and machines lab are good enough to explore your knowledge. Has a good mess facility and cafeteria.
Faculty: The faculty members are the best at their knowledge. You can learn many thing regarding research in this university. You will get excellent atmosphere for research and study regarding things. You will get the wide explore of the power system at M.Tech. So one thing I LIKE MOST ABOUT pdpu is the faculty members and their interaction with student in electrical department.

The college has the best teachers in electrical branch. Infrastructure and placements are good.
Placements: The college provides good placements for the students of M.Tech. The companies which visit the college to recruit B.Tech students are excellent. Our teachers put their best efforts to make the students get internships in the best companies. Recently, ABB also visited the college to provide internship to the students. ERDA visited the college to provide internships and selected all the M.Tech students. ONGC also visited our campus. There is no doubt of all the eligible students easily getting placed in many companies. The teachers of the electrical department are very sincere in their work and put their good efforts. Apart from it, it all depends on the ability of the students.
Infrastructure: PDPU has the best infrastructure in Gujarat. The faculty members of labs are experienced and skilled, and the equipment used in the labs are the same as the equipment used in industries. Switchgear and protection lab is not even available in IITs, which is available here. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. The library contains all the required books. The library is very calm even without the library assistant. The rules are neither very strict nor very liberal.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are excellent. The teachers of the electrical department are really very kind, knowledgeable, sincere, helpful and the best in all aspects. The teaching methods are similar to IITs. The course curriculum meets the recent industry standards.

One of the best engineering colleges in Gujarat.
Placements: The best companies come to the college for the placements. My seniors got selected in the best company. Many companies like CABB, Torrent, and TCS come to the college for placements. More number of student got selected in those companies. They work as the junior engineers. They pay the best salary than the other companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provides lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, canteen, sports, classrooms, etc. We have 2-3 canteens and for hostel students, there is hostel canteen. In the hostel, there are many facilities like Wi-Fi, reading room. There many classrooms for different class students.
Faculty: Most of the professors in our college have Ph.D.degrees. They have job experience in last five years. They teach us most efficiently. They used a board, PPTs to teach the students. They teach us in the laboratory also. There are different teachers for the different subjects. They teach the subject which is more helpful for our future.
Other: Various sports and education competitions were held in our college.

This is one of the best colleges in Gujarat.
Placements: The seniors in our college got placed in Gandhinagar Metro and some teaching fields. They also got placed in PSUs and other companies. It has a separate placement department, and the placement coordinator works hard to get the students placed. Most of the MNCs and core companies are visiting the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all the facilities like the library, Wi-Fi, sports, A/C classrooms, etc., to students. They also provide quality teaching to students. Library facilities and garden are good. There is a separate football ground, basketball court, and two cricket grounds in the college. There is a cafeteria in our college.
Faculty: All the faculty members are qualified, and their teaching quality is very good. Electrical faculty members in our college are the best in Gujarat. The faculty members are well-qualified, and they are graduated from IITs and NITs. Lab faculty members are also good in the electrical department.
Other: There are many courses in the PDPU campus. Many extracurricular activities and other activities are organised in the college.

Faculty, Food, Infrastructure everything just world class. Education and placement is also good.
Placements: Placements is very good here. Its is almost about 100%. Internships are also offered from different companies to the students, which are very famous and are MNCs like ABB, Infosys, Bridge stone etc. Specially Electrical department is very good. The faculty support is also very good in internship programs, they uses their contacts for students.
Infrastructure: PDPU is the best in such a things. Labs, library, Wi-Fi, classrooms everything is very good and facilities are available 24*7. No I never faced any issues regarding this. Electrical department has very good labs, full of internet connected PC and Wi-Fi and has all the required modern technical instruments and AC.
Faculty: Yes all the faculty members are qualified with lots of experience in education and industrial field. All the faculty members are Ph.D. in their subject from different IITs and NITs. They use all kind of teaching methods, PPT presentation, board work, notes, books, videos etc.
Other: There is no match of PDPU in the event, fest, campus, crowd, and extra activities. PDPU's Petro Cup is very famous and we also have NCC training cell over here at pdpu.

PDPU faculty and placement review.
Placements: Placements, well, they are a headache in every stream, including MBA. But there's not one college which is not IIT, NIT, DCE, IIM, IIFT or FMS, etc. where you get those big bucks. When you compare PDPU with the colleges it's competing with and being so young, it has far more pros than cons. The oil and gas market is down so the companies have not been visiting but then that's the case with UPES and other colleges too.
Infrastructure: Hostels, classrooms, mess, library and gardens- they are big and properly maintained. The festivals like Navratri and other local festivals are celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Gaming culture, be it CS, DoTA or any other, people here are good at everything. In terms of infrastructure, well, the campus is good, big and generally well built and managed. Mess facility is one of the best I have seen across the country. We had a buffet 4 times a day every day. After a while, you do develop an aversion to the food, but that happens everywhere, they used to serve custard on some days, we had to fight for that to be served again, so if you’re there, ask OmPrakash bhai to get custard, it was good!
Faculty: The faculty is a bit questionable; however, you will find a few gems among the stones scattered. In every department, there are a few profs who know their job!Yes, there is a lot of politics, but it is my belief that it is a learning curve, we had to go through all kinds of red tapes to get the most basic things approved and done; however, this is the way the world works, anywhere. It just teaches you how to deal with people in general. PDPU offers one thing that not a lot of universities can. They can teach you how to get things moving and how to adapt to the most incorrigible situations, if you are in event management, that is. As good as the IITians are reputed today, PDPUians might also have a similar reputation in near future.
Other: The cultural and technical events have grown in numbers and quality over the years. Through Flare and now, Tesseract. The quizzing culture and the videography, photography, street plays- all these activities have grown from the days when I started, by leaps and bounds. People, localites or non-localites, they gel very well together in my opinion. Try befriending a Gujarati, they are really cool people and they have their own way of living a life.

It is a very good college with great faculty members.
Placements: Our senior said placements in M.Tech are average. Many students are able to get an industrial job. The salary offered is varying with respect to the post. Mostly M.Tech students get placed. Overall, it is a great institute to study, and placements are good for bachelor courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, and it is one of the reasons which attract many students to get admission. Moreover, the environment is clean and eye-catching.
Faculty: I was very friendly with many faculty members. They were sharing their experience and knowledge. Faculty members are very good, and their behaviour with students is also very good. Moreover, they are also very good at software which is a key requirement in projects.
Other: All the facilities are available on the campus only like ATM, food, medical and banking. Moreover, they also provide various scholarships. Many events take place at this university. The best part of this college is to be part of various events like technical, non-technical, etc.

Our college is the best for academics, but costly compared to the facilities provided by it.
Placements: For M.Tech, it is tough to have placements. Mostly, the academics part is good here, but placements are not up to the mark. However, our university is trying to improve them, especially for masters. For B.Tech, placements are pretty good, and we need to take the opportunity at the right time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is the best, and the entire campus is covered with nature. Classrooms are good, and the library is small, but overall, it is very good. The food served in the mess is very bad, and the hostel is costly compared to the facilities they provide. Our college is nearer to Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, so we can have the best exposure of both the cities.
Faculty: Faculty members here are awesome and highly knowledgeable. It is a great pleasure to study here. The course curriculum for M.Tech in power system is not well designed. Most of the subjects are not related to the field. Project guide selection process for the electrical department is not good.
Other: Events, fest and all other activities are regularly organised in our university.
