Excellent facilities with best faculty members and best infrastructure.

Placements: Excellent companies with high salary packages like Siemens PLM, and Zscaler. Students should know coding in any language, at least one like C++, C, or Python. Firstly, there is a test of aptitude and coding, then selection on that basis. Interviews are held, followed by the final selection.

Infrastructure: Very nice, smart rooms and continuous internet service in classrooms, labs, and hostels, with LAN and Wi-Fi connections. Various highly structured, equipped labs with SCADA, relays, microgrid simulator, PV simulator, and wind simulator. Every class has a projector placed.

Faculty: Very educated faculty members, high level of exams. Faculty members are very nice, courteous, and helpful. They make us understand everything from the basics. Exams are of good level, covering the syllabus to train students for the best in their life. Excellent facilities.

Other: There are various fests and events held, along with national and international conferences too.

A college where you will have all the freedom to choose what you want to do.

Placements: The placements are very less or nil in my branch. But, if you can get the computer science branch then you can get placed in some good companies as many companies are visiting the campus for the computer science. The highest package offered is Rs. 27.5 LPA by Amazon. TCS offers the lowest package and the amount is Rs. 3.5 LPA. In M.Tech, a good number of computer science people can get the internships. In my branch, no internships are provided this year. The stipend offered is Rs. 12,400 per month. If you are not taking the lab loads then you will lose the stipend available for that day. There are only 20% placements in M.Tech. The core companies don't prefer the M.Tech people.

Infrastructure: In the hostel, there is a LAN facility which gives good speed which is up to 10 MB per second at times. For M.Tech, there is an old classroom. The library is there, but we can rarely find the books we want since there is no particular order of the books. Sometimes, we get the electrical books from the computer science's shelf. A dispensary is active, but not for 24 hours. There are timings for the doctors. Considering the sports, you have a sports complex where you can play badminton, table tennis, etc. The food available in the canteen is just OK. The hostel rooms of the old hostels are just OK.

Faculty: If you are in good terms with them, then the faculty are OK. Otherwise, they will delay your stipend. Many faculty members give their lab loads to the students under them. All the faculty have the doctorates. They are knowledgeable. Many of the faculty members here have done their PhDs from here only. The labs in electricals are done seriously. The classes for M.Tech don't happen as many of the students take admission here for preparing for the competitive exams. That's why the research is not happening that much here, except for the computer science department.
