It is a good college with good atmosphere and good ambiance.

Placements: There are two batches for the electronics and communication course. There are high placements in the branch of electronics and communication. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, UST, Global Tata Elexi, Zoo Semiconductors, and many companies. Many students get internships before actual placements.

Infrastructure: There are new hostels for SCT College but there are many private hostels nearby the premises of the college. The college infrastructure is not as good because it does not contain a playground and an auditorium for co-curricular activities. The quality of the food is good and satisfactory.

Faculty: Teachers at Sree Chitra Tirunal College of Engineering are good and dedicated. They expose us to the industries. There are two series exams before the main semester exams. The series exams are not tough. About 75% of attendance must be maintained every semester.

Other: It is a good college with a good library and good facilities.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement data for the academic year 2018-2019 has been released by Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram. 60% of students got internship from our course and in different mechanical companies. The top roles are offered.

Infrastructure: There are no Wi-Fi in our class room. Labs are extraordinary, and classrooms has all faculty members. Medical facilities are also too good and food available in canteen is too good and no food poison occurs. Medicines are also available with medi kit. Sports are available.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is too good and main theme is education. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry ready. The semester exams in this college is too hard. The pass percentage is 90% .

Other: I choose this course to become a professor. The things I wish would be better/improve about my course is to make the education efficient and make our state, the education is friendly. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities are too good.

Review of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.

Placements: Around 15-20% of the students get consistently placed every year. There were 18 placement offers in 2020 in the mechanical production batch. Main recruiters are from the IT sector, and scarcely few core placements also visit here. Students are bound to get good internship opportunities since the campus lies in Trivandrum. There are many highly reputed industries like Travancore Titanium Products Ltd, ISRO, AIR, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has a very tiny campus which is good and bad at the same time. Since the campus is very small, students bump into each other more often. Hence, a very strong bond is maintained between all branches. Here everyone is friendly. We have a pretty good library. We don't have a college hostel, but it also has some advantages to it. Food in the canteen is between below-average to average from time to time. As we don't have a big campus, we don't have grounds. There is a basketball court. Even though we don't have proper training facilities and grounds, we have a pretty prestigious college sports teams.

Faculty: We get experienced and knowledgeable teachers rarely. Mechanical production is a sub-branch of mechanical, and we share our faculty members with the main branch. Mechanical branch here is one of the most sought out branches in Kerala. The course curriculum is simple and easier than mechanical, and we have many theory and management papers.

Other: If someone wants to study mechanical engineering but couldn't get admission to it, then you can take this course. People say that mechanical production students can apply to both production engineer and mechanical engineer job vacancies. The best thing about this course is you get an almost mechanical engineering degree without much hard work. Even though the campus is small, campus life here is one of the best in Kerala, and we are highly satisfied to host Kerala's one of the best college fest.

I am satisfied with Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.

Placements: About 60-70% of the students get placed from our college during placements drive. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 40,000 per month - Rs. 50,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college were Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. The highest salary package offered in our course was 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: In the mechanical department, there are many facilities like workshops, CIM lab, CAD lab, SOM lab, Fluid Mechanics lab, etc. There are two canteens available on our campus. One is the main canteen, and one is mini-canteen. Both are very hygienic and neat.

Faculty: I am happy to say that nearly all of the teachers of our college were very much helpful in studies and also in other non-technical activities. Everyone was well qualified, and there were only one or two were guest professors. The teachers would help the students to achieve great heights by giving suggestions on internship opportunities and project works.

Other: SCT college is known for its mechanical trade. Here there are 3 options for mechanical which are mechanical, automobile and production.

Absolutely good infrastructure, good facilities, good numbers in terms of placement.

Placements: Our college gives the best placement. Around 30 to 40 companies come to our college for placement. Around 60% of the students placed. The average salary offered is 3 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are tata elsxi, tata consultancy services, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our college are CCF, library, smart classes, labs such as heat engine labs, computer aided design labs, research labs, mechanical workshop, etc. The quality of the facilities and infrastructure available in the college are good. Arts, sports, college fest, etc. Makes this college the best.

Faculty: Most of the senior teachers in our college are Ph.D. holders. They do research while teaching. They have great knowledge of the subject and help students a lot. The course curriculum is relevant, it gives clear knowledge about the course.

Other: I want to know about mechanical production as well as the production industry. We have so many events held at our college. The tech events such as advent, cultural event Cult A Way.

Absolutely satisfied because of the college atmosphere and the faculty here.

Placements: The placements were good for both us as well as our seniors. Almost 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was 9 lacs and the lowest was 3.5 lacs. A lot of reputed companies such as Oracle, Infosys, Byjus, Autobahn trucking etc. Visited our campus. Yes, there is a placement cell which is very efficient and conducts various workshops and training programmes.

Infrastructure: Most of the labs are good and are regularly upgraded with the latest equipment. The entire campus is Wi-Fi connected which can be accessed by registering your device with the Computer lab. The classrooms are good with almost all the classes having projector and screens for presentations. The food available the canteen is average but cheap.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and helpful. The administration is handled by retired professors and principals of reputed institutions. The student to faculty ratio is roughly 1:55. There is adequate industrial exposure with some of the most reputed companies such as Mahindra conducting workshops. Also, industrial visit is a part of our curriculum.

Other: The college has four major events, namely - Sports day, Freshers day, Arts day and the techno-cultural fest ie. Cult A Way, which is the best college fest in Trivandrum. There also lots of extracurricular activities conducted by various clubs such as the film club, the drama club, the debate club etc. The campus atmosphere is lively and the best with students being friendly and a ragging-free campus.

One of the best places to learn what college life is about- Sree Chithra Thirumala College of Engine

Placements: Placements are really good in SCTCE with over 100+ students placed after the 1st day of recruitment ( infosys, Wipro, tala elxi, envestnet) many other companies also select candidates from SCTCE they include companies like Oracle, byju's, speridian, quest global and many more. The highlight is the placement training provided by the Career guidance and placement unit (CGPU) of the college. For a very small amount compared to other colleges they provide a very good training, this year the training was conducted in association with pragmatix and Mahendra pride school. A very useful section guaranteed to help you.

Infrastructure: The college campus is comparatively smaller due to land acquisition problems. The college does't have a ground or hostel in the campus, a basketball and tennis court is available. The sports days and arts day is conducted annually by the students union and it is a big festival lasting 3 days till night. The sport days is conducted off campus at a stadium in the city. The campus has Wi-Fi facilities for students who register their laptops. All classes are fitted with projectors. The canteen food quality is really poor, the canteen along with mini canteen provides basic snacks and drinks. But you can always go out for food with nice hotels near by as the city centre is just 5mins away. The college does't have hostel facilities the college will refer students to private hostels nearby. The library facility allows students to keep 5 books for a month and have a really good collection and due fines are negligible.

Faculty: Nearly all the faculty is Ph.D. holders. The college consists of good labs and workshops and all works and projects can be done in the college itself. The department of mechanical engineering boasts the highest number of faculty and all are experienced and 2ith good subject knowledge. The college is currently affiliated to Kerala Technical University. The teachers are helpful and provide good notes and lectures. The teachers are not too strict. The students have the freedom and nobody will force you into anything. The classes are relaxing and the teacher student relationship is good. The freshers will get more attention and it tends to decrease as you pass out with added freedom the college life will not be hectic compared to others.

Other: The college along with students union and cgpu organised a lot of events the college fest is really a festival with so many outreach social programs and events, proshows etc. The name of the fest is Cult a Way its one of the biggest crowd gathering fest in Trivandrum. Other events include the 3 day arts which is hugely celebrated. Major festivals like Onam and Christmas is excitedly celebrated with many events along with it. The college has many clubs and other social programs like hair donation, blood donations, building houses for the poor, NSS unit, film club etc.

Really satisfied with the SCT life.

Placements: The college holds excellent placement records. Almost 100% placements are observed. The CPGU cell is very active. The university and college provide many scholarships like AICTE scholarships. Many students were placed abroad. A minimum of 7 GPA should be scored to get good placements.

Infrastructure: The first thing is that the college has one of the best engineering workshops in Kerala. There is CCF, from where we can learn online, and it works until 7 pm. An excellent library facility is available. Variety of books of various authors and other magazines, newspaper, e-library are also available. The college has a fine canteen and a wonderful mini canteen. The hostel is provided only for girls.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, and they all are too friendly, so there is not a huge distance from us. They help students in all situations. The way of teaching is different from different professors. When we discuss core subjects, the way of classes will change somewhat. Teachers will give students questions in which, we should think differently to answer those.

Other: The college fest is Cult A Way, one of the best cultural fests in Kerala. The college union also conducts arts, sports.
