Underrated DU College North Campus.

Placements: I feel placements depend on your personality, experience, and what you make out of the given opportunities. Khalsa is a very underrated college, and top companies might not come here like they go to other colleges. But societies like the placement cell can fetch you some help, and you can find it on your own once you gain some experience.

Infrastructure: The college campus is good, it has the largest ground in North Campus, DU. During late winter, it gets even prettier with flowers around. It has everything you would need, from AC classrooms to IT labs, a canteen, and Nescafe. It has a key centre area with greenery around it, called Jannat. The hostel rooms are good, spacious, and beautiful. The food in the mess has a variety of options. One thing that people of the girls' hostel complain about is their in-time.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, of course, since they are on DU's teaching at North Campus. They are great if you focus and genuinely study. The course curriculum is relevant to today's needs but can be improved in the direction of real-time application, internships, and experiences. Semester exams are easy if you study well.

Other: I am enrolled in an economics major with a minor degree in history. I feel that some real-time experience and an industrial overview would help me more. The best thing about Khalsa is that it has the best crowd. People here are genuinely nice. Nobody feels underrated, even though it is a Sikh minority college.

So, my college is overall very good.

Placements: My college has admitted about 45 students to my course, guaranteeing that all students will have access to employment opportunities due to the institution's commitment to providing quality higher education. The average package offered is 6 LPA. In my course, close to 45 students have been placed in companies such as Deloitte and Wipro.

Infrastructure: My college offers various facilities such as Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, clean and furnished classrooms, and a commendable library. Additionally, the college provides good hostel accommodations for students, although the hostel fee is on the higher side. Moreover, our college boasts a spacious playground and other sports grounds.

Faculty: My professor is truly remarkable and highly educated, having studied at prestigious colleges and universities. They are also qualified as a NET JRF. Our college professor holds a senior position in our academic community. Each year, our college conducts a challenging semester exam that requires diligent preparation to pass.

Other: This particular course is the most suitable option for me due to its immense benefits and the fact that I have studied at a prestigious college in India. Consequently, I have decided to opt for this course and college. However, I am inclined towards modifying the existing rule and regulation regarding the professor's teaching approach, as I believe it would be more advantageous if the subjects were taught in a bilingual language. Additionally, our college organizes two to three festivals every year, which are taken very seriously by both the students and professors in terms of fulfilling their respective responsibilities.

If you don't want to study and you just want to enjoy your college life, then go for SGTB Khalsa.

Placements: The only negative aspects of this college are that they do not have a good placement cell and will not offer you an internship in your second year. They will offer you one in your final year of college, i.e., your third year. The placement society is there.

Infrastructure: The canteen is good. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are at a lower capacity. Sports and games facilities are available. The auditorium is fully furnished. A gym facility is also available. The food in the canteen is awesome, but no sim card worked while you went to college. There is a big problem related to the network issue.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are all well-qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is simple. They focus more on presentations than assignments. They provide you with the course syllabus before the exam and also suggest some reference books.

Other: Almost every day, a fest is organised in the college. The campus crowd is good for this college. You can't find such a crowd in any other college.
