Placements: More than 80% of the students got placed for a good package and internship with a stipend. 12 LPA is the highest package, and 6.5 LPA is the minimum package offered by companies. Top hiring companies include Virtusa, Cognizant, Accenture, Zoho, TCS, Kaar Technologies, Infosys, JP Morgan, and others. Almost all the students secured an internship with a stipend.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a well-equipped lab with all the necessary requirements and has an incubation center satisfying all the software and hardware requirements. It helps us improve our skills and explore different technologies like AR/VR, etc. We have spacious classrooms with visual boards and a large digital library with a wide range of books.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with many holding PhDs and industry experience. The curriculum is industry-oriented and prepares students for the industry, focusing on practical skills and project-based learning. Semester exams are quite challenging, and the pass percentage is generally higher.

A good opportunity to interact with the outside world and learn new technologies.
Placements: About 60% of the students have been placed, with the highest salary of 12 LPA and the lowest of 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Zoho, Accenture, Askan, etc. Roles offered include software developer, technical trainee, etc. About 90% of the students have secured internships from various companies like Zecury, Askan, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has been provided with a computer lab with seating for 70 students at a time and an internet connection. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and internet connections for teaching concepts through videos. The library is given complete access and is provided with all the material that is required.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The Head of the Department is highly skilled and has adopted many unique practices, like "stand up for yourself," etc., to make sure the students are always ready to face the industry. The curriculum covers almost 80% of the current available technology, so that the students at least have an idea about these technologies. The semester exams are moderate and easy when studied well. The pass percentage is almost 95% to 100%.
Other: I chose this course to get a master's degree in 5 years. The best thing about the course is that we get an additional year to make ourselves better when compared to other students. Also, I got an opportunity to be part of the incubation centre from my second year. There, I learned new technologies like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, etc. I completely spent my 3rd and 4th year using this technology to work on a real-time project for autistic kids, and this has resulted in winning more than 5 hackathons and a fund of 7 Lacs.

A review of Sairam Engineering College.
Placements: About 80 percent of the students get placed, according to my knowledge. Where the average is about 4 to 6 LPA, and the highest is about 30 LPA. The top recruiter is TCS. My seniors all got internships in Virtusa, with a majority in software development.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, but the most impressive infrastructure is the incubation centre, where the students are involved with real-time experts. The canteen food is good, providing a variety of foods. It satisfied the food palette for students of different tastes.
Faculty: The teachers are very resourceful and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The students can interact with any faculty to clear their doubts. The curriculum is updated to empower students with real-time skills. The sem exams are not difficult on average.
Other: The course is a bit intriguing, so I took it to see its potential. There is an event throughout the years where the facilities push students to participate and volunteer for events and even give student to coordinated their events to their own way. The college management provides scholarships to students based on many criteria.

Decent placements with a average campus life and good academics.
Placements: We are currently pursuing a 5-year integrated M.Tech course in Computer Science Engineering. For our batch, we have an extra year to prepare for our placement, but we are eligible to attend the placement process for certain companies. There are students who have been placed in companies like Zoho.
Infrastructure: We have a separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel students are allowed to go out on weekends and have access to proper food with hygiene. The hostel students are provided with an Ethernet hub to access the internet, but there is no Wi-Fi. For our lab, it is currently under construction.
Faculty: There are friendly faculty members in our department, but some faculty members might be difficult for students. This is because there are different types of teaching styles. Some faculty members might assume that everyone in the class has prior knowledge and thus fail to explain concepts adequately. Additionally, as we progress, there are certain subjects in our syllabus for which our faculty members may not be strong, yet they are required to teach these subjects, which does not always benefit the students.
Other: I am currently pursuing a 5-year M.Tech integrated course in Computer Science Engineering. Our department has friendly faculty members who work hard to teach the students. Some students might find the learning pattern in our college a bit difficult because there are limits to how much students can engage in extra activities beyond academics. If they tend to improve in this area, students would be able to have an easier academic life.

Variety of opportunities are provided in all areas.
Placements: The college takes the initiative to train students for placements through sessions held every semester, known as placement training sessions. Most of the top companies, like Google and Zoho, come for placements. The packages vary from the highest, 16 LPA, to the lowest, 5 LPA. Getting placed purely depends on the skills of the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities designed for our department are excellent, and there is also a separate library and labs for each department. Sairam takes high care about the quality of food available in the mess and canteen; they also provide good medical facilities if students fall sick.
Faculty: Semester examinations are not that difficult but require preparation for passing. Faculty members are friendly, and they guide us in making projects. The course curriculum is totally based on the current requirements of the industry. Though they guide us, it’s our responsibility to shine through this journey.
Other: I chose the integrated program since it allows me to complete a direct PG, and this course also provides practical experience.
