B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - Batch of 2026

The college and the campus are really good.
Placements: I belong to the Electronics and Instrumentation department and in my department almost 85-90 percent of students are already placed. The average package is 6 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, JSW, Johnson Controls, and more IT and core companies came for recruitment. For IT they provided roles like programmer, analyst, developer, and core they provided GET roles.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good and spacious. The food in both the mess and the hostel provides decent food. All the labs are filled with LAN and in the library, we can access computers anytime. Wi-Fi is also available. The library is one of the best places in Sairam, it provides a calm and study atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, and most of them have completed a doctorate. The teachers put their utmost efforts to bring the students up and they are friendly as well. For my department they provide both theory and practical sessions and in practical, we can learn how things work in industry. Even though our college is autonomous they have a strict curriculum and exams are quite tough and worthy but if we concentrate on our studies surely we can get good grades.
Other: I chose this course because I can go for both IT and core jobs and I got placed in IT as well. I went for the interview phase in core companies but I prefer IT so I stuck with IT. The fest and events are amazing and you can surely enjoy. They conduct cultural events like concerts. It's one of the best things in Sairam. And about the scholarship, they encourage the students to get the scholarship.

A positive campus experience with good placement and learning exposure.
Placements: The placement for our batch 2026 is quite good and nearly 65-70 percent of the students got placed through campus placement. The highest package in our course is about 8 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for our department are Johnson Controls, JSW, Emerson, and other IT companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. So our college placement companies include all kinds of domains like Core, IT, Sales, and students got placed in them. The placement from our college is good and satisfactory.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities and infrastructure are good and the atmosphere is eco-friendly and conducive to learning. Especially our college library is a good place as they provide system facilities and books to learn. So it's the best place to learn and to be productive. Apart from this our college's support towards sports are good.
Faculty: The teachers are more helpful and have good knowledge of their subjects. Our faculty members are always supportive and also be our mentors to make decisions. The course curriculum is relevant and gives basic industry knowledge. Semester exams are not very difficult if we are consistent and follow the teacher's guidance. The pass percentage is about 85 to 90 percent.
Other: Overall this 4-year college life had a good opportunity to explore and learn new things. Our college assigns mentors for all to know more about the students and they are very supportive. College cultural events are really the best thing and yearly once all the departments conduct Symposium it's a good platform to work and learn.

It is a good college with good campus life and infrastructure.
Placements: About 70-80 percent of students in the EIE department are placed. The highest package offered is 32 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3.2 LPA. The average package ranges between 3.5-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, JSW, and CTS. Around 10 percent of students secured internships during the course in companies like Brakes India.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good in and around the campus. The campus gives us a pleasant feeling from the entrance with a beautiful fountain. The campus has internet facilities in all labs and the library. All labs are in good condition, and apparatus is of good quality.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and friendly. The course curriculum is relevant and helpful. It makes students industry-ready and helps them learn a lot that is useful in their careers. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but we get tested on all parts of the syllabus, which makes us understand all concepts.

The faculty and atmosphere of the college is good.
Placements: 85 percent of the students got placed. 3 LPA is the lowest package and 18 LPA is the highest package. EmbedUR, TCS, Cognizant are the top recruiting companies. 23 percent of the students got internship in EmbedUR. Teach support is the top role offered by our college in Zoho.
Infrastructure: Most of the classrooms have poor network. Infrastructure is not bad. Laboratories of our department are very poor as compared to other departments. Most of the departments have good laboratories and systems. Library is top-notch in our college because it has good network, systems, and facilities. Normal hostel rooms are not bad, but AC hostel rooms have good facilities. Food is also very good and our management provides multiple varieties of food. Network system is also good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is good and application-oriented. The curriculum is relevant. But they add extra subjects not related to our course. Easy to pass the exam. Some of the subjects are a little bit tough.
Other: I got this course through counselling. The best thing about the course is our HOD because he allows the students to learn more and he also motivates us to do anything to improve our skill in various domains. To improve the lab facilities and also improve the syllabus based on skill improvement. Our college is very good for events and fests. Our college provides lots of scholarships to the students to boost our education.

Good infrastructure, experienced, and supportive faculty.
Placements: I belong to the 2023-2027 batch of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Around 70 percent of students from my course got placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included L&T, Honeywell, TCS, and Infosys. Nearly 60 percent of students received internships in companies like L&T, Bosch, Siemens, and Cognizant. The major roles offered are Instrumentation Engineer, Control Engineer, Graduate Engineer Trainee, and System Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure for the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department. Classrooms are spacious and well-maintained with proper seating and projectors. Laboratories are adequately equipped with the required instruments and equipment for practical learning. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, and the central library has sufficient technical books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and regular maintenance. The quality of food in the mess is average but hygienic. Medical facilities are available on campus, and sports grounds support indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most professors explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. The curriculum is relevant and provides a good foundation in core subjects like control systems, sensors, and instrumentation, though more industry-oriented training could improve readiness. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and students who attend classes regularly can clear them comfortably. The overall pass percentage is good, around 85-90 percent, making academics manageable with consistent effort.
Other: I chose Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering because of my interest in automation, control systems, and industrial applications. The best part of this course is its combination of electronics and real-time industrial processes. However, more hands-on industrial exposure and core company internships could improve the course.
