Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: I was from the batch 2012-2016. The highest package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. Companies that visited the college are TCS, IBM, Dell, Society General etc. 10% of students got internships. Manager, leadership, etc., roles are offered. Around 85% of students got placed in our batch. A total of 22 companies visited the campus.

Infrastructure: The library is very good, and it is one of the top 3 libraries in Karnataka. The classrooms are not much good, but the computer labs are awesome. The hostel is very good, with a good network connection, but the taste of the food is poor.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Our teachers show us the right path. Few lectures are very helpful when it comes to placements and projects. While teaching, they provide practical examples. Students, by the end of the year, will be highly professional.

Other: Every year, at least two main events are conducted in the college. The college supports all the extracurricular activities.

Best place to balance curriculum and co-curricular activities.

Placements: Placements are good and placement trainings are top class. MNCs like TCS, IBM, Infosys, L & T and more companies visit for placement recruitment and more than 85% students will be placed before pass-out. Placement trainings are planned for students starting from 6th semester and regular trainings will be given to all students.

Infrastructure: The campus is of 53 acres and is a Deemed-to-be-University and is a green campus with plenty of trees and gardens. Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, library, Health centre, Sports, Gym, Games are the major facilities available in the college. Library is the best infrastructure design present in the collecege campus, it is of Geodesic dome shape.

Faculty: All lectures are highly qualified and all of them are M.Tech, Ph.D. holders. All are Asst. Professor, Professors and Associate Professor. The course is planned by the University and college follows grading system and the results are released as SGPA-CGPA.

The college campus is good, but there are no placements.

Placements: So, honesty about only 40% of students get placed. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies that come to our college. About 70% of students got internships, and the companies that hire us have a new startup. Data analyst is the top role offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and library are very useful. But there is no campus placement. I am a day scholar, so I have no idea about the hostel. The infrastructure of the college is good enough. Medical facilities are also provided in case of urgency. Anytime the lab is available for the students to make use of.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. There are no special classes for placement training. This course is relevant. They don't actually take us to industries, but practically to make us understand well. The exams are somewhat difficult, and the pass percentage is 70%.

Other: I chose this course because I didn't get Computer Science. This batch is actually relevant to Computer Science and has the same subjects. Better placement training would actually take our course very high. Fest events are celebrated.

Best college and best infrastructure college in Tumkur.

Placements: The placement is good in our college, reputed companies visit every year, TCS, IBM and many others visited this year, information Science and computer science students get more placement than any other branches in our college. Learning is excellent. Information Science department gets average placement this year.

Infrastructure: SSIT is the best infrastructure engineering college in our Tumkur district. Every student will get free Wi-Fi. SSIT campus has world famous globe shaped library with over 60000 books. SSIT campus is having best canteen, cafeteria, bakery. The campus is also having small hospital. Syndicate Bank is also located in our campus. SSIT campus has a football stadium, indoor gymnasium, separate hostel for boys and girls.

Faculty: Faculty of SSIT are student friendly. Best lecturers are teaching students with the best class of amenities. Rules and regulations are made by AICTE. Faculty and staff are helping students achieve tier dream of becoming engineers. Faculty are well knowledgeable.

Other: Campus is filled with good amenities like syndicate Bank, hospital, cafeteria, canteen, bakery and best Xerox center.

Please don't join to our department, they don't give marks, please join in CSE.

Placements: The placements are not good. They will say 100% placement in the banner, but only 25% of the students got placed in our batch. In my senior batch, 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary package was around 3.4 LPA by TCS. They prefer only TCS as the main company in our college, and there are no other top core companies will come to our college for recruitment.

Infrastructure: During my 1st year, they use to give unlimited Wi-Fi, but from 2nd year onwards, they limited to 4GB/Month which is not enough. The labs are well-equipped, and there are there no problems with that. The classrooms are of the old building, and there is no backup for all rooms. There are no projectors in the classrooms. Only one classroom is with the projector. When coming to the library, there is no problem with the library everyone will get books. Sports & games are the worst part of our college. There is no proper pitch for cricket, basketball, football, and no seating arrangements we need to stand & see.

Faculty: The teaching is average, only Hod is the Ph.D. holder, and all other faculties were M.Tech holders. Only one faculty do all programming subject for all semesters. They don't give marks easily, They give very tough questions during internals, and even in final year project. In my case during project viva, they told me to change the code, and I did. Also, they gave very fewer marks for everyone, and all other branch students got S & A grades, We got very fewer marks. It's not only my problem but everyone's problem.

Other: The college conducts events like Kalotsava, Ethnic day, and other technical events. During the fest, everyone will go home. Only a few members present every year, and they don't reach to students needs. Every year, the students are not satisfied with the fests. During my last year, they canceled DJ night & that was the worst fest. Every year, there are only college cultural teams, and they do cold war to hold champions trophy.

I just love my college and I miss my college days.

Placements: Placements are really nice. You get multiple opportunities to show your best and get best careers in different fields. Lecturers are very helpful regarding placement, and you get multiple opportunities to show your best and to get the best. So, best of luck.

Infrastructure: There is awesome infrastructure with huge campus hostels for both girls and boys inside the campus. The SSIT library is the heart of Tumkur. You get everything on the campus, that is a bank, xerox centre, cafeteria, coffee house, etc. The hostel is well cleaned and provides proper facilities.

Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and very knowledgeable. 80 percent attendance is compulsory, which intend you to attend all the classes. Hence, you learn every day which makes it easy to clear out all the exams nicely. Regular assignments, surprise tests, internal test, mid-term and then, at last, the final exams are conducted in the college.

Other: You feel proud after studying in SSIT, Tumkur.

Good college for study and for experiencing college life.

Placements: My batch is information Science and I got 7 CGPA and get placed in tcs and have to good in communication skill and you have to clear code round and crores round and then you get selected in the company. The highest package offered in our college is 12 lack and minimum in 3 lack.

Infrastructure: Facilities are some bad and some really good for teaching and activities. Free wi-fi is provided in labs, classrooms and library and lab contains good computers its from hp company and free wi-fi is provided by the college to the labs and classrooms.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable and some teacher are less in knowledgeable and less in teaching quality. Out of 10 teachers 2 having less knowledgeable. Semester are less hard because of deamed college and the passing percentage is 40 for 100.

Our college is very nice and having good library.

Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students were placed. If you study well then you will get a placement. If you have knowledge then you get placement and you have to score atleast 75 percent to sit in placement. If you study well then you will get a placement. Now a days this course is in demand. If you have knowledge then you get placement .

Infrastructure: In hostel Wi-Fi is available and labs, library are available. Mess facilities are really good. Medical facilities are also there for 24 hours. Hot water is also available. Study room is also there.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified also. Every teachers help if you have any problem.

Other: This course is beneficial to equip students to apply theoretical knowledge to real world engineering problems. It enables students to pursue a career in software development and communication technology sector.
