It is value for money to get a good education.
Placements: If students are aiming for CSE or IT courses, then SSN gives very good placement opportunities, with a high probability of campus placement and the possibility of high-paying offers. If students are in ECE or other core branches, then they still get decent placement chances, especially in core, engineering, R&D, and software-core fields. But students should be ready to compete and perhaps work on additional skills to stand out. SSN placement cell, industry connections, and a diverse recruiter base all contribute to making it a relatively safe bet among private engineering colleges in India.
Infrastructure: SSN is built on a sprawling 230-250-acre campus along the old Mahabalipuram road (the cyber corridors of Chennai). There are many dedicated blocks, separate ones for workshops, the central library, computer centre, science and humanities, etc. Classrooms are spacious, digitally enabled (projectors, audiovisual aids), and often air-conditioned, facilitating interactive and modern teaching. For all departments (CSE, EEE, ECE, mechanical, civil, chemical, biomedical, etc.), there are well-equipped labs. SSN supports advanced labs.
Faculty: If students choose a branch like CSE, IT, or other research-oriented streams, then they will likely benefit from experienced faculty members. There are many PhD holders. It has a good faculty-student ratio and exposure to research for modern topics. They provide good potential for mentorship, project guidance, and research orientation. Faculty members are actively involved in publishing. Students may get a balanced mix of theoretical teaching, practical, and project-based learning if they engage proactively (since experience can vary across faculty/subjects). As with any institution, actual benefit depends on which department/branch we pick, and our own initiative (attending classes, interacting with faculty, using resources, and seeking guidance).

If your aim is to get a package of 30 or 40LPA or above SSSN is the best choice.
Placements: 95 percent of students are placed every year. For Software related roles in the following year the highest package is around 65LPA and more than 3 to 4 offers are more than 1 CPA. Top MNC like Google Microsoft, Amazon TCS etc are hiring.
Infrastructure: SSN is one of the modern and premier institutions in India with a world class infrastructure which is known to all. In case of a hostel it is separate for both genders with unlimited Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Many games are also present with coaches who have served in IPL.
Faculty: All teachers have 10 years of experience. All have completed their degrees in IIT and NIT and Anna University. Semesters are going to be very hard because they have included open book tests for certain subjects. The evaluation is going to be like a grading.
Other: I am very interested in studying AI in this modern world, I chose SSSN.

Helpful faculty, strong research, good facilities, placements, and higher studies opportunities.
Placements: I believe 90 percent of students are placed. The lowest, average, and highest packages are 3 LPA, 6 LPA, and 15 LPA. Companies include Hyundai, TCS, Ashok Leyland, and others. A high number of students manage to get internships in Caterpillar and similar companies. Top roles are usually in automotive, design, and industrial/production engineering.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, both traditional boards and e-boards to demonstrate concepts and videos. The library is filled with books and is exhaustive in quantity. The tables and rooms are refurbished frequently and are comfortable. Windows are open, letting in fresh breeze. The canteen and mess serve top-quality food with high variety. A first aid kit is kept ready in case of emergencies, and the hostel is really nice with AC and single-room options.
Faculty: All professors are masters of their subjects and have a strong research focus. You can see the amount of research they produce if you walk down the hallway of my department. The course is extremely relevant and has ample electives to branch out as you see fit. Semester exams are entirely based on the syllabus, and if the concepts are clear, you do not need to worry. In my section of 64 people, I think everyone has passed.
Other: I study Mechanical Engineering, and I personally feel the course is wonderfully designed. We have ample elective choices, and the department has professors who are extremely helpful. It is an extremely engaging course, and you are introduced to new topics every semester. Do not be fooled by the core tag. My favorite subjects are Additive Manufacturing and Operations Research, which are really interesting. Events and fests are plenty, sports facilities are amazing, and the football field is one of the best in the state. There are many clubs, so do not miss the opportunity.

Satisfied with all aspects such as placements, campus life, and education.
Placements: 100% placements were provided. Top companies like Amazon, Zoho, and Oracle participated in the placements and startups also took part. The highest package offered is 50 LPA. A diverse number of companies attended the placements and all hired with a lot of benefits.
Infrastructure: The hostel was very spacious and comfortable. The hostel food was very average and they should improve on that.
Faculty: Faculty were all experienced and very good at their job. Concepts were taught with utmost skill and understanding. Semesters were quite difficult and challenging. The questions were very twisted and tricky and was quite tough to attend without a heavy preparation. My course and syllabus was architected very well with important base knowledge about computer science and coding-related concepts were also taught to us.
Other: Campus life was pretty good as the college is very scenic and beautiful surrounded by stress all over.
