Placements: St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) is a distinguished private engineering institution located in Vamanjoor, Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established in 2002, and it operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bangalore, making it the sole catholic engineering college in the region.
Infrastructure: The CSE department at SJEC has an annual intake of 240 students. The department is committed to preparing students for successful careers in the computer and information technology industry, meeting the needs of both Indian and multinational organizations. To achieve this, the department maintains well-equipped laboratories and a dedicated departmental library. The campus is situated approximately 10 kilometers east of Bangalore city center. It boasts state-of-the-art laboratories, well-qualified staff members, and comprehensive facilities. The college provides separate hostel accommodation for both male and female students, ensuring a conducive living environment. Additionally, the campus is equipped with sports facilities, including an athletics track, basketball courts, badminton courts, football and hockey grounds, and a cricket field.
Faculty: Additionally, industrial visits are organised to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. SJEC's autonomous status, conferred by the University Grants Commission (UGC) during the academic year 2020-21 and by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2021-22, allows the institution to conduct its own examinations and evaluation. Review of St. Joseph's Engineering College.
Placements: I think 60% and above of students get placed, and my course is Computer Science and Data Science. The top recruiting company is Wipro, along with other similar companies. The percentage of students who get internships from our course is above 80%, but the waiting time is longer than expected.
Infrastructure: Labs are very clean and well-maintained. They provide us with good facilities, and faculty members are friendly and understanding, except for a few. However, the hostel food is very bad. We get the same type of sambar every noon. The wardens do not always understand us, and the hostel needs improvement.
Faculty: All teachers here are very educated and experienced, and they are very friendly, except for a few. The course helps us become industry-ready, and the syllabus is a bit difficult, but I think we can manage if we put in hard work and take the help of the teachers. The passing mark is 35 out of 100.

Review of St. Joseph Engineering College .
Placements: More than 70 percent of students got placed last year. Companies include EG India, Novigo Solutions, Unicourt, Cohesity, and many more. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA, and the highest package is 25 LPA. Roles include SDE, Data Analyst, System Engineer, and others.
Infrastructure: The college has blocks for each department, such as CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil, etc. The vast central library is the treasure of knowledge; the digital library and sophisticated labs make learning very well. Internet connectivity is available 24/7. Sports and other extra curricular activities make students grow completely. The food quality is above average and there is a great scope for improvement.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified; 90+ percent of teachers either hold a Ph.D. or are pursuing the same currently. Since the college is autonomous, there is flexibility in the curriculum that helps us to meet the market requirements. Exams are based on the syllabus, and the difficult is intermediate. Pass percentage is above 90 percent in all subjects.
Other: There are 2 major festivals that take place every year. Milan: cultural festival that takes place in odd semesters.
Tiara: All India Tech Fest that takes place in even semesters
Crowd is too friendly since college follows anti-ragging on campus.

Best college with best hostel compared to any college in Bangalore.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed in our branch in CS. The highest package was 50 LPA; the lowest is around or above 5 LPA. Internship opportunities are available for students in many companies and the college placement cell officer also keeps posting and emailing about new internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities at this college are really good. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. A huge library also has space available for students to sit and study in a quiet atmosphere. Classrooms are well furnished and well accommodated overall; this college has all the needs.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified; they teach well. These teachers are well qualified and some of the teachers also have patents. Since the college is autonomous, the courses are placement-ready, and the syllabus is prepared by the college itself. The semester exams are easy, so don't worry about them.

Engineering excellence at St. Joseph Engineering College.
Placements: Every year, the placements in our department are decreasing as a lot of students are competing to get jobs in the Computer Science field. The highest placement package offered is 24 LPA and total recruiters are 79. The total packaged offered are above 680.I am currently studying in the second year, that is why I haven't applied for placements yet.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available in our college such as a huge library with all books that the students need for their course including some general knowledge books as well. There is also a hostel facility for the students who are from far away and a canteen and cafeteria for all the students. The labs and classrooms are all equipped with modern technology.
Faculty: The semester exams are pretty easy. But the internals are hard to cope with as we have to write two exams in a day for a stretch of three days. This makes it hard for the students to study one subject with full concentration and finish the syllabus. The syllabus is efficient and relevant for the course.
Other: The college has a beautiful campus and the teaching and non-teaching faculty members are also very friendly and welcoming.
