I am satisfied with my college faculty, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 50% of students were placed in my course. 10 LPA is the highest, and 5-6 LPA is the minimum package offered in my course. College provides companies like TCS, BAJAJ FINSERV, HDFC BANK. 100% students placed in an internship. But students have searched for an internship on their own in a company like Savera Infotech.

Infrastructure: Everything is available in the college, like a gym, computer labs, 3 types of libraries, 3 types of canteens, a game room, and a classroom for each department. The quality of the facilities in my college hostel is nice. The hostel is only for boys. All the facilities, like medical, sports, and canteen, are available.

Faculty: Faculty is helpful and too qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us in an excellent and simple way that we can understand easily. Sometimes colleges provide a course curriculum. Like my experience, semester exams are easy in college. 40% is the pass percentage.

The college is excellent in discipline and rules and regulations. I am happy with that college.

Placements: 50% of students are placed in that course, and the highest package is 10 LPA in my course. Companies like TCS, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, etc., recruit here. Every student does an internship by themselves, the college only provides the letter and recommendations. The internship period is a maximum of 2 months, which is compulsory for everyone to complete. In the last semester, the college provides the internship, otherwise, you can do it by yourself.

Infrastructure: Everything is good and excellent in infrastructure, and the same goes for the canteen and hostel. Each year, games and sports are unannounced for students to play. The facilities are very helpful and genuine and the canteen has pure hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent, with well-trained faculty, and curriculum activities are organized in the classroom, but industrial visits are not permitted. Exams are well-qualified, it is not easy for everyone to pass, and the pass percentage is 40%. The teaching quality is good.

Other: My course name is OMSP (Office Management and Secretarial Practices), and this course is very helpful for me because it gives me direction on what to do next in the future. Fest is not allowed on our campus. Scholarship is provided by the college.

Absolutely satisfied by learning new things in the college.

Placements: Our course consists of 70 students, and they offer an internship program after 2 years. Placement companies include Flipkart, Amazon, EY, Prestige, Havells, and many other top companies in India. They offer packages ranging from a minimum of 6 LPA to 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are older in style, but the campus area is very large, featuring two sports arenas, three canteens, and five administrative blocks, including one for the Department of Vocational Management. The course teaches you about various new concepts and office work structures, providing experiential learning about office management. You will learn how to work in an office environment and how to play the role of an HR professional.

Faculty: There are a total of six semesters, with two semesters per year, each lasting six months. Mid-semester exams are also conducted. Attendance is very mandatory here; a minimum of 75% attendance is required, and you will not be allowed to sit for the exam if you do not meet this requirement.

Other: I chose this course because it is the best in vocational studies. It helps develop your skills, and the professors are excellent and well-experienced. They enhance your knowledge of how to perform various roles in an office setting.

Review of St. Xavier's College.

Placements: 50% students were placed this year who passed out in 2024. The highest package in my course was 5 Lacs per annum, and the minimum package was 4 Lacs. The top recruiting company was Godrej. Students got internship in Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Top roles are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: For office management and secretarial practices, facilities are not so good; the major issue is no air-conditioned classrooms. We have a library that has a wide range of books. Classes have smart boards. Mess and canteen food is also okay—not so good, not so bad—and it is also affordable; it is not very extensive, and a little hygiene issue is there. For medical facilities, we have a proper clinic inside the campus.

Faculty: Our faculty are just amazing and great. And they are way too supportive, even on the holidays, providing answers to our calls and messages and guiding us to the right way to solve our issues. The course is also good because it has real-life problem solutions. We have two exams: one in the middle of the semester and one at the end.

Other: I chose this course because it will help me in the future because I am going to pursue an MBA in GT as my postgraduate degree, so definitely it will help me.

Placements: The maximum number of students who get placement in our college. The average package is 4 lacs per annum. The highest package goes up to 10 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Pantaloons, Reliance, Trends, and Shopper Stop in cities like Ranchi. The roles offered by them are to manage and control their office.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are fully digital. Buildings are super structured, and their is pure water available for drinking and a canteen with various food items. Wi-Fi is provided at our college. Hostel facilities are also provided by the college. There are many clubs that you can join to perform your dance, singing, and other activities.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are very friendly and supportive. They provide you with notes and help you with every activity. You can get mental help as well. Exams are taken by the college only so the questions are very easy and they match the teacher's notes. All teachers are well-educated and have work experience.

Other: I chose my course because, rather than choosing a simple B.Com., I wanted to do a B.Com. vocational.

College provides placement in the home town (Ranchi).

Placements: Most of the time, 30% to 40% of students can get placement in their hometown, Ranchi. According to our seniors and faculty members, many companies visit our campus from Ranchi, like Pantaloons, Reliance, Jack & Jones, etc., and offer you a decent package of an average of INR 30k–40k. However, many companies like Wipro, TCS, and Microsoft also visit for recruitment purposes.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is quite impressive as compared to other colleges in Ranchi. However, in some areas, it needs to be improved. Wi-Fi is available for the hostler, and the college has excellent labs and classrooms, as well as a central library with a large collection of books and many departmental libraries. The college also provides a canteen and sports room for chilling.

Faculty: First, not only the teachers but also other faculty members are very helpful and generous to students. They are well qualified and have expertise in their subjects. We can say that this course makes the student industry ready to some extent, as it offers some papers for it. Almost 90% of students pass the semester exam, and it is not very tough to crack.

Other: I have heard that the college organises wonderful fests and events, but unfortunately, in this duration of 2 years, I have not witnessed them as the college has not organised them. Only college knows when it will give us a chance to enjoy that moment.

It is a good campus for good students.

Placements: Average top students get placed here. The salary package offered is good.
