Really satisfied about my experience in SVIST.
Placements: Placements from Svist are of fairly good proportion. Out of 120 students in our department, 40 got selected in campus interview. So 33% placement is fairly well. Maruti, Tata Motors and Hyundai came to recruit students of my department. Recruitment was done mainly for the job role as 'junior engineer'. Tata Motors offered Rs. 14,000 package for our selected candidates which is the highest this time while Maruti offered 11,500 which is the lowest package offered. 25% students were selected for internship by Hyundai. As per the training given to us by our mentor, we did fairly well in the interview.
Infrastructure: Our college has a neat and clean lab where all the required instruments are available and maintained properly. I have never faced any problem during lab experiments. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated with ample light. Some classrooms have projector and screen installed for better demonstration. Best part is the library provides most of the books for each semester, so we do not need to buy all the textbooks for our course. Hostel facility is available near our college campus but is run by third party individuals. The quality of the canteen food is fairly well maintained. Our college has a 'sick-room' where medical aid is given whenever required. We have a football field in our college campus where students play football during lunch time.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They try to prepare us to be exam-ready. Our HOD is a very knowledgeable person, he has many research papers under his name. The teaching quality is satisfactory if not excellent. The course curriculum ( diploma in mechanical engineering) is very relevant to the kind of job we're expecting. Semesters exams went well, I would say the exams were fairly difficult. About 90% students who appeared in the exams have passed successfully.
Other: I chose the course as I had interest in cars and wanted to study their mechanisms. This course gives you sound knowledge about mechanical engineering and makes you industry ready. More job-oriented topics should be included and that will improve our course. Technical fests are conducted from time to time. The college campus is surrounded by lush greenery and is free from the dust and pollution that is there in main road areas. The college gives scholarship to the highest scorer in the semester exams.

The campus life is outstanding, and the college students are very friendly.
Placements: The placement rate in our branch is not that high, but for CS and IT courses, placements are quite high. Some good companies like Microsoft visit our college every year. The average salary offered ranges from 3-4 LPA if you clear all the interview rounds. Our college provides good placements to students, so the chance of students getting placed is very high. The average salary offered is pretty high as compared to the other colleges. The college management gives full support in the placement process.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and you will find it clean always. It has a large cafeteria, library and labs. Our college provides good facilities in the hostels. It has a gym, basketball ground, etc. Since it is located on the outskirts of Pune, the view is amazing. Since lockdown, we have not visited our college. I heard from seniors that the campus is beautiful, and it has plenty of spots where we can sit and do chit chat. The location of our college is safe. There is a huge library and a good place to sit in the college. There is a smartboard and Wi-Fi facility. There is a wide range of courses for students. Our college has a good canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is very good and understandable. The course curriculum is updated and includes recent developments in the field of the student. They motivate them to achieve their goal to succeed.

Students who have an academic percentage of 60% to 65% get placed through campus placements.
Placements: In our college, placements were very good. Almost 90% of students were placed in good companies with good salary packages. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure and facilities. There were good laboratories and good sports centers like badminton courts, football and cricket grounds. The hostel was well-kept and had a good hostel guard. The places were very clean in our college and well-maintained by college students. The food was delicious.
Other: Pune University had the best automobile engineering department among private engineering colleges. Our college had a lot of extracurricular activities for students' overall growth as competent automotive engineers.
