IIITM Gwalior offers five M.Tech specialisations. These are Computer Networking, Information Security, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Information Technology and Digital Communication. There are 60 seats reserved for the M.Tech programme at IIITM Gwalior. The total fee of the M.Tech programme at  IIITM Gwalior ranges between INR 2.44 Lacs - INR 6.5 lakh.  

Yes, IIITM Gwalior offers a five-year integrated course in BTech+MTech. This course is offered in only one specialisation, i.e., Information Technology. To get admission into these integrated courses, candidates are required to qualify for JEE (Mains) followed by JoSSA/CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) counselling. Additionally, the placement statistics for this integrated course were better in the year 2024 compared to the M.Tech course.

Admission to the 5-year IPG (BTech + MTech in IT (Information Technology) is through JEE (Mains) held annually, and subsequent JoSSA/CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) counselling. Candidates can refer to the table below to know about the previous year's cutoff for the integrated programme:

• All fees are subject to be revised at the discretion of the institute.
• The tuition fees for the SC/ST candidates are exempt.
• Separate hostel is available for boys and girls.

IIITM admits students to its BTech and dual degree programmes based on their JEE Mains marks; however, students seeking MTech admission must meet the IIITM Gwalior GATE cut-off. To be eligible for the next stage of admissions, students must fulfil the IIITM Gwalior cut-off for their particular category. The total number of seats available for admissions at IIITM Gwalior, the total number of applications submitted for the test, the category-wise distribution of students, and other criteria all influence the cut-off for a given year. Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM) Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh was settled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in 1997. It is also known as the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior. JEE Main is conducted in two sessions each year, with session 2 usually held in April. For the current cycle, NTA had announced the JEE Main Session 2 exam dates, and the exams for Paper 1 (BTech) were conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The registration for session 2 is now closed. Now, prospective candidates should wait for the announcement of JEE Mains dates for the academic batch of 2026.
