- The GATE 2025 exam is ongoing for admission to the MTech courses. The next exam dates for GATE 2025 are Feb 15 and Feb 16, 2025. Further, the GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be declared on Mar 19, 2025.
- The MHT CET 2025 registrations are open for admission to Integrated BTech + MTech courses, and the last date without a late fee is Feb 15, 2025. The MHT CET 2025 exam will be scheduled from Apr 19 to Apr 27, 2025 (except Apr 24, 2025).
SIT Pune MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
MTech at SIT Pune is a regular full-time programme offered over two years. Admission into the programme takes place through the GATE Exam. Candidates who have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in their last qualifying exam for graduation are eligible for admission. SIT Pune MTech is offered in six specialisations, including MTech in AI and Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Geoinformatics, etc.
SIT Pune MTech follows the reservation policy, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% of the seats are reserved for ST candidates and 3% of the seats are reserved for the Differently Abled. Over and above the sanctioned intake, the institute also offers two seats per programme to J&K migrants and 15% of seats are allotted for international students including NRIs.

SIT Pune M.Tech admission takes place through the GATE exam, but if candidates want to enrol for the M.Tech programme through the MHT CET entrance exam they can apply for admission in integrated BTech + M.Tech programme at the university. Admissions for the integrated programme takes place through the MHT CET entrance test and the programme runs for five years giving an integrated BTech and M.Tech degree.

About Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Founded in 2008, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune is a private college associated with Symbiosis International University.The college has excellent facilities and all the amenities a student could need, including several labs for courses, research institutes, publishing firms, and cultural clubs. The college provides a range of undergraduate and graduate programmes, including B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD programmes, in a number of subfields, including computer Science and engineering, information technology, robotics and automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and civil engineering. The college is among the best newly established private colleges in India and is ranked 38th by NIRF. The college has an incredible placement record of 85%+, and its average package is as high as 6.5LPA to 7LPA.
About MIT Pune, Established in 1983, MIT Pune is a division of MIT World Peace University. A wide range of engineering specialties, including Chemical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Environmental, Mechanical, and Petroleum engineering are among the B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programmes that are offered.
