The college is pretty good as compared to the other colleges in Mysore. Placements are very good.
Placements: About 50% of MCA students got placed this year, still one month to go. The percentage will increases. The highest package is 10LPA and the lowest package is 3LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. 100% students got internships. Top role is of Associate Engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was pretty good actually. Classrooms, labs and library were also good. But Wi-Fi was not provided to us. Sports and games were pretty average. Food in the hostel is also a bit okay, not too good. The college provides good support to everyone for games and sports in our college.
Faculty: Teachers were also pretty decent. Some were not to that high level of knowledge but still they were good. Students become ready for the industry if they put some hard work on their own. Semester exams were difficult and the passing percentage is 95%.
Other: I chose this course to build my career in it and to work in reputed companies. Events and fests were not good actually. Surroundings, scholarships and extracurricular activities are good enough.

It is one of the best colleges to pursue master's degree.
Placements: The campus selection is a boon for students, and NIE is a hub for placements. Placements in the college are very good, and reputed companies visited the campus to recruit students. Around 50% of the students get internships and get the final placement in the same company every year. The lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. There is a dedicated placement cell in the college which helps the students to register for companies. There is also a certain cut-off percentage that students need to maintain to attend placement drives of certain companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NIE college is one of the best in the city. The buildings were built long ago but have modern facilities. Classrooms were equipped with projectors and smart boards. There was a separate building for electrical and electronics department. There was also a dedicated parking lot with lots of greenery. Decent food was available on the campus with good quality and taste. There were separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls with good security.
Faculty: Faculty members in NIE were very good. They were knowledgeable and friendly. Their teaching quality was excellent. Most of the teachers were master degree holders and PhD holders. Faculty members provided the best education in the town and also gave good advice for our placements as well.

One of the best top colleges in Karnataka.
Placements: National Institute of Engineering is one of the top colleges in Karnataka, and there is no doubt at all about placements because a lot of companies are arriving for the campus selection, and those who have attended the campus, almost all the students are selected for top companies.
Infrastructure: As I told you that the college infrastructure is just awesome. The college has well-experienced lectures. The classrooms are cool and clean. The library is digitalised, and this helps the students to fetch the books on their fingertip. The college canteen provides the quality food. The Wi-Fi and browsing centres are helpful for the students to get the information from online. The labs are well-equipped.
Faculty: The lecturers are well-experienced and student-friendly. The teaching was excellent, and they provide assignments for the student's sake. The student to teacher ratio is 50:5. The course that I have to choose up is helpful in future. They gave us some assignments to test our ability how we prepare and how we punctual.
Other: In this college, the events are organised monthly, techNIEks is one of the best fests that I have never seen through my life as they conduct fest for 3 days. The campus is awesome. The garden and cafeteria are well-maintained. In free time, the students are gathered in front of the Golden Jubilee complex and interact and mingle with everyone. One more important thing I just want to say is they provide scholarship up to Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and there are AC labs, and digital classes are well-built with projectors. The systems in the lab are up-to-date, and Unix based platform is provided to work. The classrooms and campus are maintained neatly. Projector facility is also available.
Faculty: The faculty are very friendly and responsive to the students. They are available anytime for the students to clarify the doubts. The course curriculum we have is very detailed with basics. We have the choice to select the subjects that we want, and based on grade points marks will be allotted.
Other: TechNIEks is the yearly fest held in our college.

Q:   Does the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus focus more on theory or practical application?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus gives importance to both theory-based knowledge and practical training. You need to study the core subjects that are compulsory as they provide a strong base for the field, opt for interesting electives to explore new concepts, and attend laboratory classes and intriguing workshops to get hands-on training regarding the mechanical design aspects. So, you will get a mix of both aspects with a strong inclination towards practical application to prepare you for a fulfilling career journey ahead.

Q:   Are there any hands-on labs or internships included in the BTech CSE coursework?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The BTech CSE syllabus is incomplete without regular lab classes and internship programs because of the importance of programming, software development, and AI and ML knowledge required in the CSE field, which cannot be taught only through theory classes.

Premier institutes often collaborate with leading industrial partners to provide their students with the best internship exposure and training opportunities, which may act as an entry point to excellent earning opportunities later.

Q:   Do I need extra certifications to get a better job after BTech CSE?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

While it is not mandatory to have extra certifications to get a high-paying job after BTech CSE, additional certificates for skill-based learning definitely gives you an edge over other potential candidates, as the recruiter looks at you as an asset for the company. In the digitalized world that we're living in today with advancements taking place every day, it important to upskill yourself to stay relevant in the job market and enjoy health salary packages.
