Applicants should have passed a Diploma exam with at least 45% marks or 40% marks for reserved category candidates, in any branch of Engineering or Technology. Or candidates who have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and have passed 10+2 with Maths can also apply. B.Sc. candidates must also pass the subjects Engineering Graphics (or Drawing) and Engineering Mechanics from the first-year Engineering course along with their second-year subjects. However, B.Sc. candidates will be considered only after all supernumerary seats for Diploma candidates are filled. Candidates who have passed a D.Voc. course in the same or related sector are also eligible. Suitable bridge courses, such as in Mathematics, may be conducted if required. The accepted entrance exam for admission is UKSEE.
