Overall review of UIET Kanpur .

Placements: After a conversation with my seniors, I found that current placements are decent in tech fields likely 7-10 LPA and some of the toppers also got 22 LPA on campus by walmart company. In 2-3 years, the placements are going to grow up as the college and students both are doing well for higher package .

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good aur campus in very huge. There is greenery and peace all around campus. Also, there is gym, swimming pool, and many other sports facilities There are 2 boys hostels with a capacity of 600 students one is shivaji hostel (400pax) And another one is swarn jayanti boys hostel (200pax). And there is 4 girls hostel.

Faculty: Faculty is good, supportive but some of the faculty members aren't good. Teachers are helpful in providing notes syllabus. Semester exam consists of quizzes, attendance, theory and laboratory. Difficulty is above average. I will rate the difficulty 4 out of 5.

Other: Currently, a film club is created by 2nd year student for students who love video editing, videography and photography. And similarly, there are many clubs in different fields.

Knowledge and it's power.

Placements: Placements at our college are good. The training and placement cell is responsible for bringing companies and updating students about the upcoming opportunities for jobs and internships in the college. Many students of our college got placements from many companies with an average salary package of nearly 5 LPA. About 70-80% of students got placements. Not only CS and IT students get placed, but there are opportunities for other branches also.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. I love the greenery and it makes me feel like heaven with friends. UIET has huge labs and a library. It has a Wi-Fi facility too. It has a canteen and a small coffee house. The college has an amazing infrastructure and all facilities that provide a comfortable environment to learn.

Faculty: All teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college were very supportive. There are various courses for science, commerce, and art students. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology. Teachers have good experience and they teach in a good way. Our course offers various subjects which holds important value in the IT industry.

Other: I feel happy to be a part of UIET. It taught me so many things which will help me in my life. The campus life was amazing and helpful. Seniors in our college were also very helpful and supportive.

It has average placements and good infrastructure. I'm dissatisfied with some faculty.

Placements: I am (2020 batch) currently pursuing information technology from CSJM University Institute of Engineering and Technology. Placements are average. I think the highest salary package offered was 40 LPA or 45 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. I don't have much idea about internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good here. There is a central library, where you will get almost all the books and a good place for self-study. There are 2 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls. The quality of food served is below average, and there is no canteen. Hostel wardens are very strict. If you celebrate someone's birthday in the hostel, you will have to pay a fine of approximately Rs. 5,000 to 10,000. Hostel rules are bad.

Faculty: Only a few faculty members are friendly here. They don't have the knowledge, and you have to study from YouTube and self-study. Only a few teachers are able to solve doubts.

Our college provides good infrastructure, facilities, etc.

Placements: Most students are preparing for GATE and other government exams. There are many off-campus internships. Companies like Flipkart, Google, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and others come to the campus for placements. The average salary package provided is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. Almost 75% of students are placed in tech fields.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is very good. The campus has a very well-structured auditorium, senate hall, swimming pool, girls and boys hostel, library, and a stadium too. An annual fest known as Spandan is also conducted. There is a community of students in Codistan run by students. We have plenty of furniture, a table and a bed provided in the hostel room, and there is good meal quality and various dishes are served on the menu weekly.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. It's all up to you that in which course you want in. None of the branches is good or bad, it depends on you how you create your interest and job opportunities in that field. Most of the faculty here have done Ph.D. from reputed colleges. Exams are held at a particular time in the form of a quiz, mid-semester, and end-semester.

Other: University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kanpur is famous for its engineering course. It provides decent placements and students have the opportunity to be ambassadors of campus programs and be an intern. Teachers are very helpful here and give all possible types of information required for a student. Its counseling process is the same as A. K. T. U. and the same admission process as A. K. T. U.

Overall, the infrastructure and facilities are very good, and it depends on you how you perform.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are TCS, Infosys, HUL, Tata Motors, etc. About 70% of the students got internships from our course in some top companies. The faculty members here are very helpful in granting internships to students.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our course/department are very nice. The quality of facilities provided in our hostel is nice. The quality of food served here is average. Medical facilities and sports and games are good. Our college is the University of Kanpur, and it is huge and spread around 264 acres.

Faculty: The teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching of all the teachers is very helpful. The course curriculum is nicely relevant and is the same as other colleges. Semester exams are average, and if you study, you will pass. The passing percentage is average.

Other: This course is very common among students and is very helpful. This is a computer-based course. I wish that our college should remove unnecessary things that are being taught to students in our course. Events, fest and extracurricular activities are as good as they can manage. Scholarships are also good.
