The Complete College Experience
Placements: During our college placement season, many companies visited and offered packages of 400,000 rupees. Many students interested in the campus process came and were interviewed. Those who were shortlisted joined the companies, but the companies that visited my college were low-grade.
Infrastructure: I am a Bachelor of Technology (Information Technology) student, which is a technical course. Our college has all the resources related to the course, like labs and computers, which we have been using effectively. There are many teachers related to our course, and all of them have completed higher studies. The faculty understands the students very well. The infrastructure of our hostel is also quite good, with four meals a day: breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, snacks in the evening, and dinner at night. The staff in our hostel is also very good.
Faculty: The faculty related to my course is excellent. All the teachers interact well with the students and understand them thoroughly. We can ask them questions at any time. Our course has a semester duration of six months, with two mid-term exams and one final exam in each semester. The average of the mid-term exams is taken, and there are also two quiz tests in the semester, whose average is considered.
Other: All the students in our batch are very good. Our college campus is also very big and beautiful, and some events and fests are organized here from time to time.

Good college if you want to prepare for GATE, and the placement is average.
Placements: The placement at this college is a big concern. The average package is between 4-5 LPA. If you want to prepare for higher studies, then you can choose this college, as the placement is just average. Companies like TCS come for mass recruitment, so the placement situation is not very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The campus is full of greenery, and the labs are well-equipped with the required equipment. This university is NAAC A+, and the campus size is 264 acres, which is very big for exploring. Wherever you go, you will find greenery, which is a great aspect of the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and cooperative. Some are a bit egoistic, but overall, it is a good teaching environment. Professors use digital boards to teach, and the labs are well maintained. The workshop is fully equipped with the necessary tools. Previous Year Questions (PYQs) play an important role in exams, as maximum questions come from them.

Placements: The interview process was poorly organized, with long wait times and unclear communication. Technical questions were consistent with the job role, and the overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Improvement in coordination is needed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is adequate with essential facilities in place. However, there is room for improvement in areas like Wi-Fi connectivity, workplace ergonomics, and maintenance. Overall, it meets basic needs but could benefit from some enhancement.
Faculty: The faculty lacks engagement and often fails to clarify concepts, making learning difficult. The curriculum feels outdated and doesn't align well with industry standards. Exams are poorly structured, focusing more on rote memorization than practical application. Overall, it's a disappointing experience.

Absolutely loving, good environment .
Placements: At first, there was no proper placement cell, but in the last two years, there has been a placement cell, which helps students get a better package and a good company for placement. Here in our college, the average placement is 6–7 LPA, and last year's higher package was 18 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus boasts stunning greenery and expansive grounds, complete with a dedicated department building and fully digital classrooms equipped with high-speed internet. Additionally, our hostel offers spacious rooms and delicious meals. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of activities within the hostel premises, while the college grounds feature a grand stadium where students can receive professional coaching in any sport. Moreover, our campus houses two canteens, one of which offers nutritious options like fresh juice and fruits alongside fast food.
Faculty: I can definitely say that our college professors are very supportive in every field, and you will always get a good time for your course and for your exam as well. And yes, you can get help with your senior also. At this time, our course curriculum is very relevant to industry.
Other: I love the campus and my college life; there are always events related to every field, like dance, math, and coding.

Overall review of UIET Kanpur .
Placements: After a conversation with my seniors, I found that current placements are decent in tech fields likely 7-10 LPA and some of the toppers also got 22 LPA on campus by walmart company. In 2-3 years, the placements are going to grow up as the college and students both are doing well for higher package .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good aur campus in very huge. There is greenery and peace all around campus. Also, there is gym, swimming pool, and many other sports facilities
There are 2 boys hostels with a capacity of 600 students one is shivaji hostel (400pax)
And another one is swarn jayanti boys hostel (200pax). And there is 4 girls hostel.
Faculty: Faculty is good, supportive but some of the faculty members aren't good. Teachers are helpful in providing notes syllabus. Semester exam consists of quizzes, attendance, theory and laboratory. Difficulty is above average. I will rate the difficulty 4 out of 5.
Other: Currently, a film club is created by 2nd year student for students who love video editing, videography and photography. And similarly, there are many clubs in different fields.
