I am satisfied with the extracurricular activities.
Placements: Placements are quite good, not that bad. The TPC works hard to bring companies here. The package ranges from 3 to 7 LPA. TCS and JTG are constantly recruiting every year. The majority go off campus, so only 30-40% go for on-campus jobs. The focus is more on teaching-related jobs.
Infrastructure: The main library here is good, full, air-conditioned, quiet, and hygienic. The Wi-Fi connection is nice too, you just need to fill out the form to get free access. The faculty here is very supportive when it comes to my trade. The food and facilities of hostels vary from hostel to hostel. In the first year, Kaveri Hostel was allotted, where the food and facilities were decent, but as we became seniors, the hostel and food became better than previously.
Faculty: Teachers here are surely very qualified and very helpful. Besides the course, they are ready to help their students with other problems. Talking particularly about my branch, more students are focusing on software and a few on hardware. Teachers here are ready to help them with the best knowledge they have. The difficulty of exams is usually easy to moderate.
Other: Electronics is one of the booming industries, and new opportunities are coming with this scope. I chose this course. Working on skills consistently and with the guidance of teachers and seniors can improve the chance of getting placed. The events and extracurriculars are relatively fewer. The campus connectivity and surroundings are very nice.

Review of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students got placed. The average package of this university is 4 LPA. Even one student got a package of 14 LPA. In placements, the package depends on students' skills.
Infrastructure: The university campus is spread over 622 acres of land. It has 18 teaching blocks and other independent buildings that house 41 university teaching departments. There are around 250 smart classrooms equipped with LAN and Wi-Fi facilities, which provide a modern learning environment. The infrastructure is very beautiful.
Faculty: The university provides more than 175 teaching and research laboratories, along with a Central Animal House and the Aryabhata Central Instrumentation Laboratory. These facilities are designed to support advanced research and practical learning across various disciplines. Teachers are good and helpful.
Other: Overall, MDU Rohtak's infrastructure is designed to provide a holistic educational experience, supporting both academic pursuits and personal development.

It is an average college and not value for money. The food is bad and placements are a little fine.
Placements: A very low amount of students get placed by the university. There are very less amount of students get internships or placements from the university, so we need to do work on our own. We should also get internships on our own. Mostly, small companies visit the college, but this university is improving. If we want we can try for it.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not working properly. The food is not that good and clean. The hostel is fine. Medical facilities are good. Sports are good. There is not that fair competition in games. It has very large playgrounds. It also has a swimming pool and gym. Overall, this college is not good. The mess food is bad. It does not give fruit to students. The library is so good, big, and comfortable place to study.
Faculty: Exam papers are slightly tough and subjects are interesting. There are no good teachers. They give real education. Teachers are bad and they do not take classes properly. They are not making us study in an interesting manner. Overall, it is a below-average college.

Good if you have the will to study, not for those who run for placements.
Placements: So, as it is a government college but not very renowned, don't expect like 20 LPA or something. Here in the ECE department, the max was about 9 LPA last year, and the average is like 4–5 LPA if you do well. Placement rates are about 80%. Not many companies come here. Companies like Infosys, etc., come, but not many renowned companies. No MNCs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best here in MDU. It's pretty big, with a lot of plantations. And if we talk about classes, they are average—no AC though. But labs are pretty decent. Sports area is one of the best here; you can see pretty much every game being played. Mess is below average, but with like 2500 for a month, it is decent.
Faculty: Before I go on about the teaching staff, I would like to tell you about the library system here. It has the biggest library you will ever see—fully AC and very comfortable with a large number of books and novels. As for the teaching staff, they are not underqualified, I will say, but there will be some teachers that teach differently (badly). But overall, they're very supportive. About exams, they are on the easy side, but there are some that are very hard and require decent studying. Passing percentage is 33%, like 30 marks from 75. You will be upset regarding the practical marks because you won't get as expected. I think you understand what I am saying.
Other: In ECE, if you do it seriously, you will definitely get good placement because your teachers will guide you and tell you what to do about everything. And yes, campus life is good—means very good here. Lots of friends, many functions, many places to hang out, etc.

Read this before joining UIET, MDU.
Placements: Actually, we haven't received any official data from the college on placements; they don't make it very public. All we know about placements is from our seniors. They say that the average package is somewhere around 5-6 LPA. Some do get good packages, but only in off-campus placements. The placement cell here is active, but you won't know the actual scenario until the third or fourth year. The billboard says that some popular companies and small companies do visit us, along with some mass-recruiting companies as well. Since we don't have official data, I can't really comment further.
Infrastructure: The infra of my university is overall good and well maintained; however, the same isn't true with the hostels. Although the authority seems to have provided good infra for the hostels, the residents have failed to maintain it. Apart from that, the labs are average, and the library is grand and really nice. There is greenery all around and many parks which are well maintained. You'll get almost all the amenities inside the university campus, but they might feel like they're on the expensive side. The sports complex is really well built.
Faculty: I would personally rate the faculty members a 6/10. They do hold a Ph.D., but not from any prestigious institute, at least those ones I have MET. Although they are teaching-worthy and make you understand topics if you really pay attention in class, YouTube does the job for most people. They are helpful. Exams are once every semester, with two sessionals in between. The marking scheme is quite strict and notorious. You will get re-exams if you take things very lightly. The curriculum is what AICTE prescribes.
Other: I have chosen ECE in this college and have seen a pattern regarding the student quality as you get in the lower branches. If you have finally made up your mind to get into this college, then be prepared to study hard and try to find good peers, as it is much better than private colleges that charge a huge sum of money for just a degree paper. One more thing: you will find students indulging in drinking and smoking in their rooms, so beware. Also, don't get bothered by couples hanging around. And there are no major fests.
