Dissatisfied because of placement and faculty.
Placements: Electronics in this college is lacking in regards to placement because limited companies are interested in picking students from this college. The scope in electronics is very good, but in this college, it is not at all. The lowest package was 3 LPA, and the highest was 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this college is very good, but it is only the infrastructure, not the study or courses. There is no space in hostels for students, and there is no generator to support electricity after a cut. No one is interested in listening to your problems. You have to buy your light for the room.
Faculty: Faculty members are rude and give maximum assignments. They are not interested in teaching. They want you to know everything. Exams are tough, and invigilators are rude. DMC will be bound if you are caught cheating in exams. You should complete attendance.

Placements and ambiance of the college need to be strongly improved.
Placements: Not many companies came for placements, and many IT companies that offered placements either phased out or gave jobs after two years due to the 2008 recession.
Infrastructure: Hostel Is also of good standard and decent feels for mess and hostel was nominal around rupees 40000 per year Marine students well place in good IT companies earning really well at good position any travel frequently avoid from work related assignment you have started their on business.
Faculty: Faculty is average. Students just after passing college are used to a localized exam pattern as per Guru Jambheshwar University of Technology. In addition, there used to be a fuse conductor in one semester for a subject. The lab work is well-maintained with qualified instructors.
Other: Campus life is cool. Extracurricular activities are also there, like cultural fests, sports tournaments, and technical quizzes, but there used to be many fights in the college between students as well as with local security.

I would suggest students don't expect any program on a daily basis.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The hostel is very good. Rooms are large, but the food we get there is not as good as I expected. We will get our personal almirah, bed, and study table. There are 4 hostels and 3 wings in bh-4. I suggest students live in a new wing. It is the worst college for students because of the faculty, students, and security. Insects are roaming all over there. Wi-Fi is everywhere, but we don't get the excess. The infrastructure is good, and all the fees are for infrastructure. Don't expect the hostel from the 2nd year, especially for boys.
Faculty: We will go there to submit fees only and not for anything else because they are just looting our money for their personal use. There has been no upgrade for the last 4 years. I suggest students think properly and look for more options.
Other: Programs are boring and not exciting.

This college gives really good placements in various companies.
Placements: This college gives really good placement in various companies related to engineering and IT fields, with companies like Tata, Wipro, IVM, etc. coming for placement in their office, and almost all students of the college got placed with a very good starting salary package of 2–3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel services are pretty good as they have clean rooms with proper facilities like AC and cooler; the structure is also good. It’s affordable and easy to pay. Hostel rooms can be shared with fellow students without any hassles. The food in the mess is very good.
Other: The labs and workshops are perfect in my college as the college is newly built, so everything is new there, from marvels to titles of labs and workshops. They have proper and good quality instruments to teach students about their subjects in a proper way. They have a good sports area where you can play tennis, cricket, badminton, football, and basketball. The campus life is very good, and the crowds are also good, as the faculty is helpful and in control over students.

The infrastructure is also good, and there is water and all types of facilities available.
Placements: Regarding placement and job opportunities, we were very lucky to get placed in very good and reputed companies like Infosys, Hewlett-Packard (HP), IBM, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Visa, Wipro, Rufus Google Technologies, MindTree, L&T, and Vodafone.
Infrastructure: The course I have chosen is Electronics and Communication Engineering, in which I got to learn some new things in this department. Especially in the Communication department, I have learned so many new things, like how communication will be done between two or more devices, how the transmission of data will occur between two or more devices, and so on and so forth.
Faculty: Teachers are so professional that each faculty member is a minimum of a postgraduate, so we can learn a lot of things from them in a very easy way. We got 100% support from our faculty, which led us to learn new and innovative ideas in Electronics and Communication.
Other: Internals occur every three months for 20 marks, of which we need 8/20 to pass in the optional external exams. Externals occur at the end of each semester for 80 marks, in which we need 28/80 to pass, so overall we need 35/100 to pass in each subject.

The good and the bad of college.
Placements: The campus placement is quite low here; the students have to get an internship by themselves and also get an off-campus placement. About 5% of students get campus placement; no big companies like Google and Amazon visit here. My pleasure is to get an internship somewhere, then do a Master’s, and then a job.
Infrastructure: The new hostel, which is given in the first year, is nice. The mess food is okay, but the necessary diet is only 10. Therefore, you can eat wherever you want, like in another hostel. There are four boys' hostels here. You have to fill out the form online and submit the printout to your department.
Faculty: Teachers are quite nice here; the ratio is about one to 40. The teaching staff is quite experienced, and we can approach them easily; they help the students way too much. But for some subjects, you have to do most of the study by yourself, especially for Dr. Naresh's mathematics, because their teaching style is way too good.
Other: Exams, study, and fun are moderate.

The college campus is serene, vast, and has everything you need.
Placements: Campus placement is offered for all branches. Good companies ranging from Oracle to Deloitte to Brain and Co. for various teach and non-teach roles offer decent packages for freshers. Teach companies pay better, offering roles in various technical and non-technical domains, for example, JPMC - Software engineering intern, Brain and Co - Product manager, and business consulting.
Infrastructure: C and non-A/C rooms are available. Various accommodation types like 2-seater, 4-seater, 1-seater A/C, and non-A/C are available with attached and common washrooms. The menu is standard, with decent food quality. Hostels are present inside the campus offering roles in various technical and non-technical domains.
Faculty: Faculty members vary from department to department. Most faculty are very knowledgeable and assist you when required, but some professors are very strict, going by their own set of rules, and often are biased.

The library is huge and has all kinds of books.
Placements: Students become eligible for internships in the 3rd year and for placements in the 4th year. All big companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Zomato, etc., come here. The highest package last year was 1.2 crore, and the lowest was 6 LPA. 96% of students get placed. I plan on taking a job after my degree. I am in my first year, so I really don't know much about internships with stipends at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, but our seniors say that their internships are really good.
Infrastructure: The labs and workshops really help you to face the real problems that may come in your engineering work. I have a single room. Washrooms are really clean, and the aids clean your room every day whenever you want them to between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The food and menu are also good. Our food comes from Sodexo, which is really tasty. It is almost like homely food.
Faculty: A single class has 200 to 250 students, which is taught by a teacher. Along with them, 2 Ph.D. students come to take attendance. It is sometimes difficult to ask a doubt in a class, but that is compensated in tutorial sessions where only your immediate classmates are present, whose strength is up to 25-30.
Other: Saturnalia is a very big festival at GJUST Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. CCS is also a very big society here. Many hackathons happen here; a lot of something or the other is always going on. GJUST Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, has a really big sports center. They have almost everything. The course I am studying EEC, has both electrical and computer components, so I will be taught both software and hardware components.
