My review of UVCE Bengaluru.

Placements: Our placements are department-specific, and my course comes under the CSE department, along with CSE and ISE. Our CSE and ECE boast the highest placements, above the 90-95% mark. 15-20 LPA offers are common, and more than 160 companies visit our college for placements every year. The average package for the software companies is 7 LPA - 8 LPA, whereas the core EEE/mech/civil has a bit less than that. Companies like Texas Instruments, Juniper Networks, and JPMC come to our college every year. The highest package we get is 55 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is one of the weaker points of our college. There is a shortage of classrooms (but still we manage daily due to excellent coordination between the teachers and students). We have a student's Wi-Fi, but it's overloaded almost every time, so not very useful. Library is big and has a very good collection of books. We have a good e-library and journal collection too. Hostel building is average, but the food there is very good. The warden is chill. We don't have a dedicated mess, but there are 2-3 government messes nearby.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified masters/PhDs. Teaching quality is a hit or miss, but that's the case with every college out there. Course curriculum is outdated, it was last updated in 2020. Our semester-end exams are on a bit of a higher difficulty level than the other engineering colleges.

Other: I chose this because it's an emerging field and also it comes under CSE department during placements. Improvements I would suggest are the updation of syllabus. Campus crowd is the best thing about this college. Everyone comes here only to study/improve their career. You can meet many smart people and network with them. We have a very high amount of juniors and seniors interaction. This is the USP of our college, I would say. Seniors gladly help you out. Usually have 2 fests a year, one technical and one cultural, but there's no shortage of fun events throughout the year.

Obviously good college for your better understanding and marks, good Infrastructure.

Placements: Bangalore University is a college where its the centre of all college, almost 80% of students were placed in our course, Fee structure may vary. Eg starting is 40,000 per year and varies for other courses. Many companies like WIPRO, INFOSIS, RELIANCE etc. Are recruiting companies of our college.

Infrastructure: Their are various facilities like good infrastructure, greenary space, Huge Play ground, and many inter college games and fest etc. Our college is developed with good Wi-Fi facilities, well maintained classrooms and library. Our college also provides hostel facilities with good canteen, etc.

Faculty: Taking about the teachers, they do their best to make us understand the topics by giving us good examples, some times by giving us live examples with diagrams etc. They teach both for the exams and for the current life style. They even prepare is for the semester exams that would help us to get higher percentage.
