No, the UPES - Experience Centredoes not accept the MAT score for MBA admissions. On the other hand, the UPES School of Business does accept the MAT score, with a minimum eligible MAT/CMAT 2024 score of 70 percentile exempting students from the UPES Management Entrance Test. Therefore, if you have a MAT score and are considering applying for an MBA at UPES, the School of Business would be the appropriate choice for your application.

BTech is one of the popular courses of UPES - Experience Centre. As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020. Apart from the Engineering course, UPES - Experience Centre was also the part of NIRF Ranking under 'University' category. Recently, the university also found a place in 'Overall' category of NIRF 2022 rankings. Not only in terms of position, the university also provides excellent placement opportunities to BTech students. As per the latest report, over 250 recruiters participated and presented over 2,000 job offers to the class of 2023. The highest CTC increased from 28 LPA in 2021 to 50 LPA in 2022. The Placement percentage has been more than 90% for the last 5 years and the growth has been consistent. Till May 2023, the highest and average package offered to the School of Computer Science students was INR 36 LPA and INR 8.66 LPA, respectively. Further, the highest and average package offered to MBA students stood at INR 27.83 LPA and INR 8.12 LPA, respectively. In addition to this, the highest and average package offered to School of Design students during UPES placements 2023 stood at INR 12.50 LPA and INR 7.22 LPA, respectively. 

 UPES Dehradun offers over 72 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels through nine schools and UPES Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Business, etc. The university conducts its own entrance exams like UPESMET, UPESMET UG, UPESPAT, etc. for providing admission to specific courses. UPES - Experience Centre accepts JEE Main/ CUET UG score for admission to BTech/ BTech (Hons) course. Aspirants must also Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 to apply with JEE Main or CUET score. Candidates must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. For aspirants who wish to apply with their merit in the last qualifying exam must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 75%-80% aggregate and a minimum of 75%-80% aggregate in Class 12 PCM subjects.
