The selection of the students for the MTech courses is based on the GATE entrance exams, and the students must have qualified graduation degree with a minimum of 50%.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) accepts admission in its MTech course through the GATE entrance exam under the supervision of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Candidates willing to take admission in M.Tech must take GATE entrance exam.
