Good placements & best college life.
Placements: The top achiever in our class secured the best placement with a 100% success rate. Personally, I was fortunate enough to receive two placement offers and I decided to accept the offer from Tata Steel as an Operation Engineer. The highest salary package offered is 30 lakhs per annum, while the average package stands at 7 lakhs per annum. Notably, Tata Steel, SRJ Steel, JSW, and other prominent companies are the top recruiters in our institution. Additionally, we were privileged to receive numerous internship offers during our academic tenure, with stipends reaching up to 50,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college has a long-standing history and has been facing infrastructure issues for several years. The computer lab provides Wi-Fi and internet access, although there are some concerns in this area. On the other hand, the thermal and mechanical labs are in good condition. Additionally, we are fortunate to have a well-stocked library. The hostel offers good facilities and serves high-quality food, but admission is limited to only a few students, based on their percentage. Lastly, the college organizes a sports festival every year.
Faculty: Teachers possess a wealth of experience and knowledge, and they are highly qualified, holding doctorate and master's degrees. Thermal engineering is a significant component of mechanical engineering, encompassing comprehensive thermal exposure that prepares us for the industry. The semester comprises various assessments such as class tests, mid-semester exams, assignments, practical's, moral evaluations, and end-of-semester exams.
Other: I gained admission to VJTI, one of the top institutes, thanks to my impressive GATE score.
