Though a very young university, LPU has created a niche for itself especially in the area of engineering. LPU’s BTech programs today attract students from all 29 states of India and 70+ countries. Every year more than 1 lakh 50 thousand students aspire to get admission in BTech programs at LPU.  The pathway to get into LPU’s BTech program is through University Entrance Exam - LPU NEST - which is an online test conducted in 200+ centers across the country and in 50+ countries abroad. This year in 2019, this test is being conducted into two phases- first in the month of February and second in the month of April.

Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs, NITs and IIMs also recruit from LPU. Over the last 3 years Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from LPU campus. • State of the art Infrastructure: LPU’s infrastructure is unparalleled to any of the universities in India. It is a mini township.
