IIT Indore MTech Admission 2020 - The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore made available the application form for the MTech admissions on March 16 and the last date to fill the application form was April 24.

IIT Indore MTech Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria are the parameters prescribed by the authorities that candidates need to meet to be eligible for admission procedure. Candidates were suggested to refer and check eligibility criteria of IIT Indore MTech admission 2020, before applying. Candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidates must have a BE/BTech degree with minimum 60% aggregate in the relevant discipline
  • Candidates must have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline
  • IIT graduates who have CPI/CGPA equal to or more than 8.0 will be exempted from GATE 2020 qualification

The application form of IIT Indore MTech admission 2020 was available online from March 16. All eligible candidates were required to fill the application form on or before April 30.

Note: The unregistered candidates will not be able to participate in the admission procedure.

IIT Indore MTech Admission 2020: Steps to fill the Application Form

Below are the steps to fill the application form of IIT Indore MTech admissions:

Pay application fee: All applicants were needed to pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs 800 online by transferring it to the bank account. Below are the bank details:

Note: The subject narration of online payment must mention: “M.Tech Application Fee”

  • After depositing the fee, candidate were needed to fill the application form by entering all the requisite details
  • Candidates were needed to submit the application form and take a print out of it
  • After affixing a recent passport size photograph on the print out and putting a signature in the space provided, applicants had to send their application form on the address mentioned below. Applicants had to mention on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION IN (name of the programme and discipline) for AY 2020-21”.

  • Applicants were also required to attach the self-attested copies of the GATE 2020 scorecard, transaction slip for payment of application fee, copies of the requisite certificates and print out of the application form of IIT Indore MTech Admission.

IIT Indore MTech Admission 2020: Selection Procedure

Below are the details regarding the section process of IIT Indore MTech admission 2020:

  • Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on their GATE 2020 score
  • Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of the category and their name in the merit list
  • The candidates will then have to get their documents verified. After submission of the original GATE scorecard and payment of the fee, the admission will be offered on the spot
