Hindustan Institute of Engineering & Technology
Hindustan Institute of Engineering & Technology (HIET) was established in Chennai in 1966 to impart non-formal technical education. HIET is run by the Hindustan Engineering Training Centre (HETC) Educational Society. The institute is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India, for conducting Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses and by All India Council for Technical Education and the Government of Tamil Nadu for conducting Diploma courses in different streams.

Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science
Hindustan College of Engineering, started in the year 1985, was conferred the "University Status" by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, in the 2008-09 season and was renamed Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS). KCG College of Technology
KCG College of Technology was founded in 1998. It is a Christian minority institution, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college offers twelve undergraduate and four postgraduate programmes. Six undergraduate programmes (Mech, ECE, CSE, IT, EEE & Aero) have Permanent Affiliation under Anna University.
