Q: What is the current admission scenario like in your college?

A: Our college is closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemics. As the current situation is changing very fast due to this disease, the top precedence of our college is to ensure the safety and well-being of the students and visitors during the admission process. Our college management team is taking necessary steps to restrict physical contact and visitors from outside to support the mission of the India Government to stop the potential transmission of the COVID-19.

Our college is providing an online/remote admission process to the students so that they can get admission during this national lockdown period. To support this, many arrangements have been made by our college.

Q: On account of the lost time, are there any changes in the admission process?

A: Yes, there is a complete change in the admission process and now the student has to do all the necessary steps online to get admission to the college.

Details about B-Tech Admission:

  • The last date to apply for this Programme has been extended to April 20, 2020.
  • The dates for LPUNEST is not decided yet but will be announced soon after the government declares the dates for JEE MAINS so that both examinations don’t clash with each other. Our college is also planning to take the LPUNEST test in an online proctored manner so that students can give the test from their location and the test will be monitored through webcam and tab switching will not be allowed to conduct the test fairly.

Two types of counseling will be done and it will be fully online:

  • The very first one is regular counseling which will be done after the LPUNEST examination and it is dependent on the government's decision. The student who has not appeared in the first phase of LPUNEST which was held in January can appear in this phase. The date of conduction of LPUNEST will be informed later but students need to apply on or before April 20.
  • The second type is special counseling which is available to the students who have given the LPUNEST test in the first phase or have appeared in the JEE Main which was held in January. For this counseling, students do not need to appear again in the LPUNEST exam, however, if they need to improve their marks and want to achieve another level scholarship can again appear for the LPUNEST exam.
