At LPU, I found the courage to transform myself: Reedam Jain

I was very passionate about coding and wanted to know about technologies in depth. This is what made me choose Science stream in class 11^th. Right now, I am doing B.Tech (CSE) and am grateful to be pursuing this course. I chose Lovely Professional University for it as it is one of the best private universities. Along with this, LPU offers a great amount of scholarships to every student based on their 12^th grade, JEE Main marks or LPU-NEST marks. Along with that, what I have experienced is that the faculty is well-educated and experienced. It has an informal environment. If I talk about it, it is like you are at your home. There are no issues of safety. Coming to safety, I have no doubt related to that. LPU is fully safe and secure.

So, it is surely a good place to study, to get knowledge, and to live. The infrastructure is up to the mark as well. I am planning to pursue my higher studies from here too. Overall, I must say LPU has rejuvenated my personality to the extent that I can go anywhere with full confidence. I am grateful to be a student at LPU.

For my admission, I had tried for many government colleges but unfortunately, I was unable to meet the admission criteria. So I tried for LPU. For admission, I had given LPU-NEST test for a chance to win a scholarship. No entrance test was taken for admission in LPU. The only requirement was that you must have cleared your 12^th examinations with a certain percentage. I had not taken any coaching classes for any entrance tests. Overall, I had received the ‘Early Decision Benefit’ and the concept was very good. My vision was clear − to pursue my bachelors in technology.

My next plan is to get placement in one of the renowned companies so that the hard work of all of us and the institution pays off well. Automatically, the reputation of the institution would go up this way.

I spend most of my time in attending classes and after that, just looking around and grabbing information about current happenings and upcoming events. I usually attend classes of all the subjects. I try to participate in most of the extra-curricular activities in every field. I want to represent LPU internationally.

If I talk about my experience in LPU, it has been great. By my 3^rd year, I have changed myself to the extent that I am now a fully confident boy having high aspirations and dreams to fulfill. I have experienced this drastic change because of a wonderful environment. Also, I have upgraded my friend circle with time.

You can get anything you want but for that, you must be determined and focussed towards the goal you had established before coming to your dream university.

As an experience, I am blessed to be at this university. I must say to the students that they should have the courage to transform themselves in order to transform the world. I’ve got many friends here and they have become my second family now.

If I talk about extra activities, LPU is buzzing with activities organized right after the classes to keep the mood of the students uplifted. At every convocation, LPU has made possible the presence of international as well as national leaders to hand over the degree to the merit holders, which impresses the students and their parents.

I must say I am at a good place for studying as well as for living.
