M.E./M.Tech	Must have 45 % marks in graduation for candidates belonging to reserved category. Candidate with M.Sc. degree must have passed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE at the graduation level.

No, VIT Vellore admissions are not solely based on VITEEE. The university conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for MTech admissions and VITREE for PhD admission. The institute accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc., for MBA course. However, admission to a few other courses, including BSc, BSc (Hons), BCA, BCom, MSc, MCA, among others, is based on the aggregate obtained by the candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam (merit-based). After passing the entrance exam, aspirants are called further rounds of selection. Shortlisted aspirants need to come for counselling and document verification round.

SRM University conducts SRMJEEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams.
