Realistic of Heritage Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement is almost 85% for B.Tech CSE students who got placed, and the average package is between 4-5 LPA. The top recruiters of my college are TCS, Infosys, Teach Mahindra, Cognizant, etc. I am currently doing my B.Tech in ECE, and I think ECE students have also been placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: Heritage Institute of Technology has a good central library. It is large and air-conditioned. More than 250 students can sit at a time. There are lots of journals and magazines available. There are lots of air-conditioned labs in the college. There is only a girls' hostel in my college, and there are lots of boys' hostels outside the college. The girls' hostels are of both types, AC and non-AC. The quality of food is not bad, and hygiene is also maintained here.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, with good knowledge of their respective subjects. Most of them are Ph.D. holders, and some are from NITs and Jadavpur. The semester exams are not very difficult, and if you study 20-25 days before the exam, you can score a good CGPA.
Other: I chose this college because when I took admission in 2023, the fee was only Rs. 45,000 for each semester, but now it is Rs. 70,000. So, I think the return on investment is not good, so you can go to Bangalore or Noida rather than this.

One of the best private institutions in Kolkata.
Placements: Placement is so far good and nearly above average in the best streams, like CSE core, CSE branches, and ECE. Seniors are getting placed in internships too. The success rate is good. Companies are giving an average pay package starting from 5 lacs to 9 lacs. This is a very good private institute in Kolkata .
Infrastructure: The classrooms are top-notch, and the Wi-Fi facility is amazing. The library has an amazing stock of new books. My department offers various opportunities for exhibitions, hackathons, research paper and many more starting from the 1st year itself. The hostel is provided only for girls and not boys. It is very safe for girls and is inside of the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers helps us in different way, providing suggestion, brief notes. The exam system is very flexible and convenient for students. The curriculum is very relevant. The semester exams are quite easy if you follow the class notes and previous year question papers. Scoring a good CGPA is very easy if u are a sincere student. The teachers provide us with daily assignment. There is daily assessment on your behaviour and participation in class. It helps us to cope up with the pressure of the industry.
Other: ECE is the oldest course in heritage. It has amazing opportunities in college only. The exhibition, hackathon, seminar and learning process are never-ending. There is a cultural club for different activities and technical fests are a very common thing. The only thing one is going to miss out on is the fest. Heritage doesn't provide freshers or fests annually. But there are various cultural programs in a year that are very engaging. Also, it really doesn't compromise with the course and job facility .

The college campus is good with all facilities, but the average placement is around 4 to 5 LPA.
Placements: Approximately 180 students are there in the ECE branch of our college. In other branches, there are almost 200 students. The average package of the course is 4 to 6 LPA. TCS is one of the top recruitment companies. Around 50 percent of students get placed in companies.
Infrastructure: In heritage, facilities are good starting from the lab department; all are well-maintained. The infrastructure of this college is also good. The course duration is almost 4 years for B.Tech. In every corners of this college, you can get the Wi-Fi facility. In the library also.
Faculty: All the teachers here are qualified, and many of them are from Jadavpur University and Calcutta University campuses. Their teaching quality is also good. I think the most relevant part of the subject in this college is humanities, where they prepare students for interviews.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. The best thing about this course is you can choose two paths: one in software and the other in hardware.

Absolutely loving college.
Placements: Minimum 80% of students were placed from our college. Top recruiting companies are mostly TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, SAP. It depends on which exam you are giving. For TCS Digital, the role given is a developer role, and for Ninga, the role given can be testing or analyst. The highest package offered was 7 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Internship was not much available at my time, so I don't know much about it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fantastic, unlike colleges like IEM. It has a big playground as well; overall, the campus is huge. I used to travel from home, so I don't know much about hostels, but what I have heard is that hostels are like those in other average colleges, not much elite.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, and yes, of course, they are qualified and knowledgeable except for a few, but they are helpful. Teaching quality is good enough, and they give us notes that are very helpful. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-wise ready. As in my time, the college was MAKAUT-affiliated, so the exams were not quite easy, but with the help from teachers, it's quite manageable. The pass percentage is 65.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to work in the IT field. The best thing is that I learned about software development and coding, which I love. To improve in my course, I would say that the college should give us some internship opportunities. As in our time, there were not many internship opportunities. Heritage is known for its best extracurricular activities like dancing. Scholarships are available for students who rank best in the overall college.

A brief Into of My College .
Placements: The average package of our college in off campus is around 2 to 3 LPA. Around 50 to 60 percent student get placed through college. There are companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant recruiters from our college. Almost all of the students are offered internship in 3rd year.
Infrastructure: I think our course infrastructure is not that good. It can be improvise through more interactive courses. Labs aren't that good. Classrooms are not that airy. Library is quite good. Hostels are good for staying but messes are not good. There are many sports options.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are good but some are not. Our departmental teachers are dreat but the ones who teach us computer Science are too bad. The exam curriculum is very unjustified for even semesters. There surprise test and mid semester also. The course curriculum is quite good for students being industry ready.

You should either go for IEM, Kolkata or Heritage, Kolkata, as both the colleges are good with decent placements. Campus of the IEM Kolkata is school like campus with very strict rules and regulations. So, better you choose some good branch in Heritage. As you get better branch preference in Heritag

Try private colleges like VIT, SRM and Manipal. Score good in their entrance exams and you'll find yourself in a good institute.
