Overall, four years of my college life were beautiful.
Placements: Techno Main Salt Lake is a good college with good placements. In my batch, students are still getting placed. Good companies visit the college like TCS, Cognizant, IBM, LTI, Mindtree, and Accenture. A few core companies like Worley, Volvo, BMW, Blue Star, and Himadri Chemical also visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not available. Students have to stay in PG, but the PG is good with good infrastructure. The college infrastructure is good, but it is still developing with good facilities and faculty members. It is worth the money to be a good engineer and put a step forward in our bright future. Premium labs are available.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. They focus on every student. Semester exams are of quite level, and we can solve it easily by studying with the materials provided by the faculty members of our college. The course curriculum is top-level with the latest modules.

Absolutely satisfied with techno main salt Lake Kolkata campus .
Placements: The students were placed in the recent year are 80 to 90 Percentage of the students get placed in the college campus. The highest package was 45 LPA, which was get placed in off-campus in micro-soft company. The lowest was 3.5 LPA and average is 6 LPA
The internship 60 percentage only students get from college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure, of course, are average, and the separate coordinators are given through specific branches. The Wi-Fi labs. Classroom and library facilities are good. Their are three canteens on the college campus that provide the best food. The college does not provide hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is designed to make the students ready for industrial work and give them the opportunity to visit industrial areas. The semester exams are set at moderate to difficult levels. The passing percentage is around 85 percent.
Other: I chose this electronics and instrumentation engineering branch because I have an interest in it and I love to play with sensors and robotics. The campus is crowded, but not all the time, as during exam time it is mostly crowded. The scholarship is made available to the students of West Bengal by the government.

Techno Main Salt Lake: a perspective of a 3rd year student.
Placements: Almost 90 to 95% of students get a placement. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. are the mass recruiting companies. In our department, students get an offer letter for software developers and other electronics departments. The highest packages are around 7-9 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is just average; the labs are good, but they are small, and some labs are outdated too. And there is no hostel facility available here at our college; students live in PGs or rented flats near the college, which are approximately 2-4 kms away from the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, cool, and do not pressure students much about academics if you are an athlete or sportsperson. Exams are very common: 4 internal theory exams and 2 internal practical exams. Out of which one of the best is counted for each section. And there are marks in attendance too; then the final exam of the theory paper contains 70 marks. And for lab exams, 60 marks.
Other: The campus has two grounds for outdoor games. There are multiple clubs for every kind of activity, like sports, technical, coding, exams, quizzes, literature, etc. Seniors are good and helpful, making the atmosphere good and friendly.

College is quite good. College provides good education as well as good placements.
Placements: Around 85 to 90 percent of students get placed. Almost 15 LPA is the highest package and 3.5 LPA is the lowest package. TCS, IBM, WIPRO, MINDTREE, COGNIZANT, Byju's, and City Bank are the top recruiting companies. The college does not provide on-campus placement.
The SDE role is the top role offered by companies.
Infrastructure: The college does not have any hostel facilities. Students have to stay in a rented room, or PG and mess is available around college. The college's infrastructure is quite good. Labs are well-equipped, and a library is also available from where you will get your course-related books.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and all are well qualified; most of them are Masters or Ph.D. degree holders. Teaching quality is also good. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant. It prepares students for industry.
Semester exams are moderate-to-tough. 40 percent marks are the passing marks.
Other: I want to be an engineer so I chose the B.Tech. course.
The college campus is not too good. The campus is very crowded.
Every type of event and fest is held in college. There are cultural fests as well as technical fests.

Taking admission in Techno Main Salt Lake is worth it, as it provides all facilities for students.
Placements: 92 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 15 lacs. The average package is 7 lacs, and the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, etc. 50 percent of students got internships from TCS and Wipro. The top roles offered are junior SWE, SWE and many more.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs are provided with well-maintained classrooms. The quality of food provided is good and healthy, with a good diet and hygiene and medical facilities are also provided at any time. There is a canteen with all the stuff provided and sports facilities are also provided like cricket, football, volleyball and many others.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and are qualified from IITs and NITs with very good knowledge and teaching experience. I learned about this course from many seniors and family members, and then I made the decision to opt for it. Many companies need people with skills that are provided by these courses. The semester exams are average. The passing percentage is 90.

Good Teachers in the EIE department, Good Labs, but No AC classes.
Placements: SEE If your ambitions are high and you are in a core branch of this college then please work hard and try off-campus. I am not saying placement is not good here, it's quite good, but you get less opportunities if you are in the core branch. L&T, TCS, and Cognizant are mass recruiters for core branches like EIE, EE, ME, and CE. But don't worry few good companies also allowed us like Tiger Analytics, Amazon (AWS role ), and Cozeva all with 6 LPA+ packages. Many non-tech companies also held recruitment in TMSL. Almost everyone is placed in my department with an average package of 4 LPA. The highest package - 9 LPA - Amazon (AWS)

the lowest - 3.2 LPA ( TCS Ninja).
Infrastructure: There is no hostel service in Techno Main Saltlake. Try to search PG / Flat near 206 bus stand, salt lake sector 2. If you are a girl then you can contact PGs of Saltlake sector 2 and Flats in kestopur. These areas are the hubs of students. These areas are cheap too.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful and all the courses introduced to us are awesome. Semester exams are not that difficult, but you have to study so much before the exam to get a good score because marks matter a lot. If you are interested to upgrade your branch then try to score above 8.5 CGPA in the First and Second semesters.

Review of Techno Main Salt Lake.
Placements: Almost 90-95% of students got placed in 2022. In our department, around 100% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, Infosys, and IBM. Our course has a good placement record.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, and it is improving every day. Labs are air-conditioned. Our campus has a very good environment. Sports are available in our college. The quality of the food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, kind, and highly educated. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 40%. If we work hard, we can score good marks.
Other: Our college is very good in all aspects. I chose this course because it offered both core and non-core subjects. Our campus crowd is increasing every day. Many fests are organised in this college. We need more responsible teachers for the lab subjects.

Overall, it is good and value for money.
Placements: The placements are too good and the average package goes up to 3 to 4 lac per annum. Keep working hard you would get better than average package, it would be around 7 to 9 lacs per annum as our seniors had got.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well maintained and there are some places to sit where you will feel the relaxation. The labs are maintained, structured and the whole campus is neat and clean. It follows the Swachata Abhyan and keep the surroundings clean.
Faculty: Facilities are very cooperative and knowledgeable as they are always ready to help you out. They are all Ph.D. holders, and they will always be there for you to help you in your problems and will make your doubts clear in a very polite manner.
Other: Here, the fest is organised properly, and exciting for freshers.
