- Step 1 is to fill the preferences: All registered candidates have to fill in choices of courses and colleges in the CSAB choice filling process in order of preference. JoSAA choice list will not be applicable here. Fill fresh choices.

- Step 3 is to lock the choices: Lock the choices only after you are sure of the choice preference list. After locking the choices, candidates cannot edit the choice list. Locking means final submission of the list. If a candidate does not lock the choices before the deadline, their choices will be auto locked, and the auto locked list will be used for seat allotment.
How to edit the CSAB Choice Filling after Locking the Preference?
The authority does not provide the choice editing option once the choice filling dates are over and the choices have been locked. Those who are willing to edit their locked choices may do so by submitting an online request in the CSAB portal well before the choice filling deadline. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email, and candidates will have to enter the same to validate their request. Once validated, the candidate’s choices will be unlocked.
